Disappointingly low quality - Edit
This place had good reviews so we thought we would try it out for breakfast. Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the vegan breakfast offering. For the price, the quality of ingredients was no better than you’d get in a Travelodge or Wetherspoons. The breakfast consisted of a cold piece of toast, two anaemic, cheap-tasting vegan sausages, two rashers of vegan bacon that looked like they’d had the briefest of encounters with a grill, a hash brown, half a cooked tomato and a pot of beans. The tofu scramble tasted overwhelmingly of cinnamon for some reason and the avocado was under-ripe, unseasoned and unsliced. The breakfast came with a huge pot of vegan butter but also a non-vegan packet of Anchor butter. I had an oat milk cappuccino which didn’t really taste of coffee. The vibe of the place feels like a camp site restaurant, with sticky table tops, and if I’d realised that I probably wouldn’t have made the trip. The cafe is dog-friendly, if like me you don’t want animals (living or dead) anywhere near your plate.

Great vegan options - Edit
The food was very good. We got the vegan breakfast and the vegan superfood bowl. Both could be make gluten free upon request. The food was delicious and then environment relaxed.

The Farm Kitchen with a Conscience - Edit
Quality ingredients defining vegan and vegetarian options alongside mainstream farm foods. This was a brilliant find for us and conveniently nestled at the front of a really well run, family campsite on the Marlow Road. Parking is plentiful and the property boasts plenty of organised outdoor seating together with a children’s playground. There is also indoor seating together with a conservatory. You can book online for both reservations and food. Card and cash can be used. Facilities are large and clean. The staff are really welcoming, professional and jolly hardworking so that, together with their touch of humour, makes for an all around positive experience. Their vegan options are well thought out and easy on the eye so the unsaid promise of satisfaction is easily achieved. This food tastes as good as it looks and we detour to here just for their breakfasts.
