Serves meat, vegan options available. Cosy village pub with dog friendly bar area, beer garden and more formal restaurant area. Also has rooms. Reservations required on busy evenings and recommended the rest of the week. Lots of vegan options on the menu such as two vegan starters, a vegan burger and pie as well as a vegan dish of the day. Vegan cheesecake available for dessert. Open Mon-Thu 12:00-14:30, 17:00-20:30, Fri-Sat 12:00-21:00, Sun 12:00-18:00. Pub is open throughout.

Good quality food and good service but limited choice

The food is good quality but there isn't a lot of choice for vegans at The Falcon. The Falcon provides vegans with options for each course of their meal but the choice is limited to one or two options for each course. The service is generally good and the atmosphere is usually enjoyable.

Delicious food in great pub

I come here quite often as it’s the definitely the best pub food in the area. The pub itself is always busy and warm, the staff are amazing.
The bar area is dog friendly and there’s lots of free dog treats available.
The food is delicious, I usually go for the vegan dish of the day and it’s always really tasty and more inventive than standard vegan options. Previous dish of the days have included beetroot Wellington, ‘chicken’ crumble, tomato gnocchi.
The vegan cheesecake for dessert is delicious.
