Full vegan tea on request

Asked about vegan options and they provided a separate menu with a full vegan spread. The sweets were really delicious, especially all of the scones and the lemon bar, omg! So good! I didn’t care as much for the sandwiches (the bread wasn’t that good), but the fillings were thoughtfully planned. They had a variety of non-dairy milk options for the tea. I had masala chai with soya and was very happy with it. You can get refills for the tea, but they brought me a giant pot so I didn’t need one.

The ambience was ok, it was kind of dark and a little cramped. The wooden stands are cute at the end of the table, e.g. for two, but block your view of others on the bigger tables.

Altogether, I had a really good time and would return for the nice experience not usually available for vegans and yummy tea and sweets I enjoyed.

Great vegan afternoon tea

We went here as part of a spa package at the gin spa. Had ordered a vegan and a vegetarian afternoon tea (for flexitarian friend). This also came with a gin cocktail which seemed forgotten about with a changeover of staff, but soon resolved once we explained.

Unfortunately, my friend's vegetarian afternoon tea came out as a regular one (Inc ham and salmon sandwich). She eats meat so was happy to have to avoid waste, but a shame this was mixed up.

The vegan afternoon tea was delightful. Everything was separated in the holder and I definitely didn't feel as though I was getting a sub par version. It includes mini sandwiches, sausage roll, scones with Jan and coconut cream and a selection of delicious cakes.

I would definitely come again, but loses a star because not 100% vegan, and another for the mix up with drinks and friends food.

Pros: Full vegan afternoon tea, Delicious food, Lovely setting

Cons: Mix up with friend's order, Busy so service was hit and miss

A lovely dining experience

It was a lovely variety of different food and we loved it

Pros: Delicious breakfast present beautifully , Also any amount of beverages of your choice , Staff were friendly and helpful

Cons: We used Google maps to find it
