A delightful surprise

I pretty much spent my teenage years in this local pub. It was definitely “a local pub for local people” and not really in a good way…. It’s now been refurbished and a solid “pub grub” menu has been added and it is a great place for vegans and non vegans alike. The vegan part of the menu is limited, but oh my goodness it’s good! The vegan burger is delicious. I really didn’t want it to end and the chips were fluffy and crispy and there were plenty of them. The hostess made sure the Mayo for the chips was vegan without being asked, and suggested vegan wines and other drinks. There were vegan nachos and salads available as well. It’s modern, clean with great vegan food and positive friendly staff. Yay!
