Yummy! - Edit
Had the ‘Clyde-built’ toastie with vegan cheese, vegan black pudding, jalapeños and chilli jam. Very tasty! Then had a mocha that came topped with decadent vegan cream - yummy! It’s a cute place, too, covered in artwork.

Nice food - Edit
The food was good. We had salad, soup and sandwiches, iced biscuits and drinks. However everything was served in disposable cartons even when sitting in and wooden disposable cutlery. Hot drinks were in mugs, but we felt there was an awful lot of unnecessary wastage. The decor was funky but the tables were so small they were totally impractical. Ours was basically a plank. They had some great extras like raw protein balls and seaweed packets which I was searching for.

Lovely Little Place! - Edit
Very nice place, interesting and relaxing decor / seat layout. Staff were very friendly. I stopped in a while back for a brownie and some iced coffee, both were amazing, they said that the cakes are vegan all the time, I'll definitely be back for more!

We love The Cran! - Edit
First the cakes had us hooked (after spying the options through the window one day), and now we’ve been working through the savoury menu too. Love the pop up shop aspect, as there’s always different things for us to nosy at while we wait during each visit. We haven’t had anything from The Cran that we didn’t love.

Fantastic cosy lunch spot - Edit
I think The Cran might just be my new favourite place in the West End! It's wonderful how homely and relaxed it feels inside this café - would recommend it to anyone wanting to wind down during lunchtime or in the early afternoon.
Read moreWe had some tasty vegan sandwiches that came with a cold salad and the soup of the day - fabulous! And because there were soooo many good-looking vegan cakes on display, we couldn't resist treating ourselves to something sweet after, which (of course) turned out to be a good decision. (The salted caramel brownie and the peanut butter banana cake were to die for!)
The staff were lovely and welcoming, too, which definitely adds to the great atmosphere. Please visit and see for yourself how nice it is - I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
Pros: huge selection of vegan cakes and sweets
Cons: limited seating

Cosy, friendly, delicious - Edit
Visited The Cran yesterday during a trip to Glasgow, very cosy place that leaves a warm feeling. Super friendly and helpful staff, lots of great vegan options but unfortunately were out of some toastie ingredients by the time we arrived at 3:30ish. Lovely hot chocolate and chocolate cake, big vegan snowball, fair prices.

Coffee and Cake Kings! - Edit
I love The Cran. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help. Menu is always changing and they experiment a lot with new things - always something tasty to try! Can never resist the coffee and cake too - coconut milk lattes are the best!

Great Breakfast - Edit
I was staying in Glasgow for a few days, and I loved this place so much that I came here for breakfast twice in a row. Everything was so delicious and the coffee was fantastic! The first day I had one of their blueberry danishes and a green smoothie and the second I had their yogurt pot with a cappachino. My non-veggie husband was impressed too.

This place is a gem. So pretty inside and with wifi. The doughnuts and croissants are a must, and the sandwiches look great. The staff were absolutely lovely and full of suggestions.

Thanks so much for your lovely review! Unfortunately the lack of toilet limits the amount of seating we are allowed so it's a vicious cycle. We hope to install a loo for customers in the future. Many thanks again and hope to see you soon xx

West endy vibe - Edit
Clearly a lot of time and effort has been put into this cafe. The decor was like an interesting shabby chic barn, the sandwiches were tasty and filling and the cakes and pastries were mouth watering.
Read moreThe only down side was there really wasn't enough seating, and it was sad to see people walking out without trying the food because of that. Hopefully with a few more seats this place will be a great success.

Thanks so much for leaving your comments and we're so glad you enjoyed your food! Unfortunatey as we dont have a toilet, we are limited to how many seats we are allowed to have in store -- we are hoping to refurbish our basement in future to increase our capacity! Hope to see you again soon x
