Surprisingly good

Went for brunch and had the dirty vegan brunch whilst my kid had the kids vegan brunch. Both were delicious. Especially loved the dirty vegan brunch which was very substantial and the combo of sausage, hash brown, vegan cheese, avocado, chipotle jam and brioche bun really hit the spot. Also dog friendly (in bar area). Note that there are stuffed animals decorating some of the walls which might be off-putting for some.

Smallest vegan brunch….

The portions are very small for the price (around £11-£12 for a brunch dish). Unfortunately they have also discontinued the scrambled tofu which was the main reason for picking cosy club for a brunch, but they didn’t update this on their website which can be misleading (it has been discontinued for 6 months now..)
Charges £0.50 for plant based milk alternatives too….

However, staff are friendly and it’s great that they have a separate vegan menu and a “vegan” filter on their website.

Pros: Seperate Vegan menu , Staff friendly

Cons: Small vegan portions , Online vegan menu not updated , Extra charge for plant based milk

Vegan menu

There was a vegan menu, but the choice was quite limited for dinner as they stop serving sandwiches and the ‘all day breakfast’ at 6pm. So I would recommended going for lunch if you want a full range of options.

VEGANS VERY WELCOME

Having used our local Cosy Club in Cardiff several times, we were keen to try Bristol's whilst on our way to the airport!
Wow! First impression is of the ambience and space! ( please dispose of the stuffed animal heads though!!)
Secondly, the staff are well trained and knowledgeable - nothing was too much trouble.
The food was exquisite- the Vegan menu is a lesson to many other eateries .
As good as Cardiff's!!
Well done Cosy Club!😄

Pros: Excellent Vegan food, and ambience

Cons: Stuffed animal heads!!

Ask for the vegan menu

This is a delightful place....decor is Georgian with attitude. It's really fun. The staff were super friendly. When I said I was vegan the waitress disappeared and returned with a vegan menu. I opted for the beet burger which was excellent. Coffees and teas were good. Service from lovely waitresses. A great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Pros: Vegan menu, Decor, Nice staff

Cosy fan tutte

Cosy is as cosy does. Colonial/empire decor but a welcoming and friendly place to eat, drink and relax. It's great that this stylish bar [censored] restaurant has a vegan menu; the waiter told me vegan food is always prepared separately from the other food. Good location amidst other bars and cafes yet Cosy Club seems devoid of the lairier customers barking at passers by, which is nice. All in all, very nice food, friendly atmosphere, and good beer and cider.

Pros: Different decor, Young, friendly and knowledgeable staff, Very good food and drink

Cons: Wall-mounted animal heads not my thing
