An incredible vegan spot - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised and happy to find this place! I had their vegan breakfast sandwhich and it was yummy. Definitely on the higher end in regards to pricing but that’s common with vegan food and I loved the energy of this place. Will definitely come back.

I've order the Loaded Vegan Breakfast Burrito from TCB twice on DoorDash in the past 3 days. It's delicious and filling. Today I also added the SD Home Fries to my order and they were INCREDIBLE. This is going to be my go-to breakfast spot from now on!

No Meat at The Corner Beet - Edit
I ordered a vegan burrito, which includes tofu scramble, cheese, and potatoes. The cashier's chattiness slowed down ordering, but we received our food fairly quickly. The burrito was good, but I would have preferred something like a little fruit rather than plain tortilla chips on the side.

Loved this great find. Went there for breakfast and was super impressed with the delicious lattes. Also, had both a brownie and banana bread from them and both were amazing. Went twice on my one week vacation lol

I love their juices; from what I’ve seen they switch up the combinations offered regularly. Their toasts are fun, and the menu offers mostly vegan options for everything. The staff is sweet & friendly.

We had a couple of vegan breakfast burritos here. They were ginormous! And they came with chips and salsa too. Although we didn’t feel like we waited long at all, someone gave us complementary fresh-squeezed juice for “being so patient” while waiting. We honestly didn’t mind, but the juice was a nice surprise. I’ll definitely go back!

I got the vegan bahn mi toast and it was SO GOOD! The Smoked tofu and jalapeños offset the vegan mayo really well, and it was a quality piece of toast. Large menu for vegans and the person who took my order was extremely nice! Try it!

I was skeptical to try The Corner Beet at first; health food places normally aren't my thing, since I make healthy food at home and want to eat something more indulgent when I go out. But I was wrong to doubt TCB. They have an incredible menu with really clever and flavorful combinations. I love the banh mi toast with the marinated tofu. So good!
Read moreAnother perk: The cafe makes some great efforts to be environmentally friendly. They don't use plastic utensils. Straws are discouraged and not given out unless requested.
The only downfall is that 95% of the salad dressings are made with honey. I hope this changes soon as it seriously limits the vegan options on the menu.

I loved the vibe of the cafe. We went on a Saturday afternoon - it was busy, but there was still plenty of seating available. The food choices are limited (mostly salads and toast). There are a few vegan toast options, and others that are easily made vegan by omitting things. I’ll definitely go again.
