Lovely vegan chocolates - Edit
I did not try the cafe but I did get a selection of their vegan chocolates and they were lovely. Smooth, not bitter, not too sweet. The cardamom discs were my favourite.

touristy - Edit
Worth a visit if you’re exploring the area. Housed in a beautiful mud brick building with plenty of outside tables under established shady trees next to a small dam. I got a hot chocolate made with soy and melted pure dark chocolate. They now offer almond milk as well. It wasn’t as thick and rich as I expected and it wasn’t bitter at all so they must have upped the sweetness since @NDVegan visited. I found it a bit too sugary, actually.
Read morePicked up a few blocks and individual chocolates as well. My favourites were the roasted cashew block and cardamom disks and my husband liked the Turkish delight and fondant-filled mint leaves best. I wouldn’t go back here just to buy chocolate but combined with a stroll around the Mount Franklin loop, it makes a nice afternoon out.

Nice chocolate - Edit
Great customer service. Knowledgeable about veganism and clear labelling. Vegan Hot choc was too bitter for us. Cool cups with no handles. Chocolate was nice. Turkish delight and liquorice were the best.

Vegan chocoholics rejoice! - Edit
This adorable little venue is a bit secluded but well worth the drive.
Read moreThere are around eight vegan praline options: cinnamon stick, cardamom disc, orange segment, mint, Turkish delight, liquorice, cat's paw and love heart (the last two were plain 54% dark chocolate). I would highly recommend the mint cream!
The cafe offers dark hot chocolate with soy or almond milk, and is a great experience to drink, with melted chocolate at the bottom of a 'hug mug' that you can mix in to your liking or just scoop up and eat with your spoon. Yum!
I would have liked to have seen more vegan cake options but the variety of unique praline flavours more than made up for it.
The chocolate used is also palm oil free, uses natural vanilla and is fair trade which was great to know.
A beautiful building too with outdoor seating with some seats undercover and surrounded by trees. Would definitely make my way back here if I was in the area.
Pros: Great variety of vegan pralines and hot chocolate , Nice venue with outdoor qnd indoor seating, Fairly priced
Cons: No vegan cake options

best vegan hot chocolate - Edit
I have had the vegan hot chocolate here a few times. It is the strongest most delicious hot chocolate I've had in Melbourne surrounds. The service is quick, the eating area is a bit cool in Winter but the hot chocolate warms you up. They also have a selection of vegan chocolates to buy. I really like the mint leaves. Wish they had a few more vegan fondant chocolates.
