Ongelofelijk lekkere vegan bonbons

Qualitativ sehr gut.

Decent

When I visited I couldn’t find the chocolate bars but 3 vegan Pralinés. They were all delicious but I’d recommend Mary’s over Chocolate line. At least in Brussels they had more variety in vegan pralines. I don’t know about the Antwerp shop though since it was closed during the time we were here

Good & Fair? chocolate

There are quite a few labeled vegan options (chocolate bars, chocolate boxes, truffles). We had a couple of bars and they were great.

They claim their cacao beans are grown in fair conditions (wage/environment) which is always a plus.

Price-wise, I found them accessible, especially compared to other «fancy» chocolate brands which are not even fair trade.

The store itself is rather beautiful so it's worth a visit, even if it's only to check it out.

Pros: vegan options, claims to be fair trade, nice interior

Cons: not all vegan

Extremely expensive for nothing special

Good chocolate, and there is a small selection of vegan chocolates available. That's already rare, sure, but then you should consider that you can go to a supermarket and buy a great bar of 85% chocolate which is vegan as well for less than €2. And that's the thing: the vegan chocolates aren't pralines (the chocolates with a soft filling), but just bars of solid chocolate with some small taste differences. Worst thing is: praliné (the classic filling for pralines) should always be vegan if prepared correctly, you just can't find it in a completely vegan praline. And neither can you do so here. It's so frustrating!

IMO, this place is just ripping off people.

Pros: Decent chocolate

Cons: Very few vegan options, Extremely expensive, No real vegan pralines

Belgian chocolate for tourists

The only place in Antwerpen where we found "luxurious" vegan chocolate box. As a tourist in Belgium, I thought they MUST have a vegan Belgian chocolate brand, but they don't. This place is located in a gorgeous building on the main pedestrian street of the city, the shop has a lot of vegan dark chocolates, products are all clearly labelled and only one special "vegan" themed chocolate box. The chocolates in this box were fine.

Pros: dedicated vegan Belgian chocolate box, vegan products are labelled, beautiful store, nice staff

Cons: pricey , only dark vegan chocolate bars
