Quick, cheap, delicious - Edit
Easy concept: pick wrap or plate (€4 & €5 respectively), pick a sauce (hummus or tzatziki (only hummus is vegan)), pick up to 4 toppings, decide if you want a drink. Pay at the counter and pick a seat, they call out your name when you food is ready (5-10mins).

Pros: Cheap, Quick, Delicious
Cons: Can get busy, a line forms

Good falafel - Edit
There is no menu so you have to put your own falafel wrap together and tell the staff what you would like to have. This can be a little challenge as there is no menu. You can see the ingredients in the window and can try to get them explained and choose them.

Great selection of vegan condiments and toppings for your falafel sandwich. Although it did get a bit dry, the sandwich was still enjoyable.

Delicious and healthy option in town - Edit
Sadly they sell meatballs as well, but the falafel here is amazing. The concept is simple: choose a wrap (4€) or plate (5€) and up to 4 free salads/sauces (each extra is 50 cents).
Read moreThey also have homemade fries which were super delicious as well.
We tried the wrap, plate and fries and left very full and happy.
Pros: Good price, Filtered water, Delicious falafel, organic

Scrumptious falafel - Edit
It's an amazing place really for everyone. There are plenty of sauce choices. The pumpkin chutney and the mustard are my favourite. Btw you can also buy things to take home such as bars, carob biscuits ( I ALWAYS buy them when I eat there. They are also good for hiking because they are not only vegan, but also really easy to carry), greek paximadi, etc. Definitely go there!!!

Fab staff and falafel - Edit
Really friendly staff who explained what I could and could not have. The falafel really impressed my family who all eat meat and usually complain when they eat vegan with me. Food was also really good value for money and possibly the tastiest food we ate in Crete.

We informed the staff we were vegan and they went through all of the ingredients, sauces and dressings we could have. They also explained the menu to us and helped us decide what to have. The food was absolutely delicious and by the time we left there was a queue out the door. A real treat!

Amazing Falafel Bar! - Edit
Brilliant place to go if you want some tasty Falafel! The staff are super helpful and friendly and went through the menu with us and made clear what was vegan and what was not, we got two plates of falafel, pita and salad that you chose yourself, they also have some very tasty sauces as well! All items are organic and fresh! I also got a portion of french fries which were super tasty! I was very shocked as well when I found out the owner of this place lives in the same area as me back home in England, the staff were as surprised as me also, it is a small word indeed! They told

Great falafel in a wrap - Edit
The Chickpea is a cooperative-owned and run cafe and falafel (and much more). Every day they make healthy treats with the fresh, organic ingreadients that local farmers bring in. The falafel is really delicious and we ate here twice on our holiday.

I'd give it 5* if I could, but it's not "fully vegan" so HC won't let me. Local, organic, charismatic & passionate. It's small but provides a great experience.

Away from the bustle of Heraklion retail hell. Had falafel wraps - delicious, lots of fillings to choose from. Kids had meatballs and chips with flatbread (they'll make their own minds up one day). Tomato sauce and homemade lemonade were the bomb!
