Lengthy separate vegan menu - Edit
Dog-friendly which is always must beautifully decorated country pub with real open fires. Food lovely with five or six options for starters mains and desserts with suggested vegan drinks to accompany it. Highly recommended.

Chips aren't vegan :( - Edit
Only had a couple of options on the menu that we were given. My partner had the curry and I had the plant-based burger. You have to swap the usual chips you get with the plant-based burger to a salad (which is quite small!) to make it vegan for the same price. What we got tasted lovely but unfortunately wasn't very filling, especially for the price. Vegan chips would go a long way!
Read moreSince dining I've seen people's past reviews on Happy Cow saying there is a seperate vegan menu but these are from years back now so I'm not sure if this is still accurrate. There was no mention of it on the website or on the main menu and the waiter didn't mention it when I asked about the chips being vegan. It would be great if they made it more clear if there is!
Staff were lovely, and the overall atmosphere of the place was nice to dine in.

Very good vegan menu - Edit
This is good pub with open fires, friendly staff and decent ambience.
Read moreIt's great to go to a place like this as a vegan non-drinker and be so well catered for. Their vegan menu is a good size and is we'll thought-out. Their drinks menu has lots of alcohol free drinks including lagers, ales, botanicals & bitters, and alcohol free sparkling wine.
Recommended.
Pros: Full vegan menu (you might have to ask for it), Very friendly and helpful staff, Good range of alcohol free drinks
Cons: Service can be slow when they're really busy

Vegan menu - Edit
Great to see a dedicated vegan menu, absolutely no confusion between vegetarian and vegan options. A good choice of starters, mains and desserts. The website says that the menu changes on Sunday (because the kitchen is mostly serving roast dinners) but it says there will still be options available
