Nice place but only one vegan option - Edit
To be fair, there were lots of vegetarian selections on the menu, but I'm dairy-intolerant and virtually all had cheese, butter, or cream sauce, and showed no promise to be anything but mediocre if made without them. I was looking forward to choosing among the four vegan options listed by the previous reviewer, but the only vegan item on the menu was the mushroom burger. It was good but impossible to eat without making a huge mess. The first time I picked it up the sauce dripped out and covered the plate. Next time I picked it up, I got sauce all over both hands, to the point where it was too slippery to hang on to. I switched to knife and fork but the sauce made everything slide apart during the cutting process and the only knife was a dull butter knife so in the end the cut pieces were just fragments of burger, or bun, or vegetable swimming in sauce—no bites with all three. Also, it wasn't clear the side was going to be chips (French fries) or I would have asked for a different side (I don't like to eat deep-fried food). Other than that, the outdoor terrace dining area overlooking the water was pleasant, the antics of the birds who definitely want your food (don't leave it unattended for an instant!) were entertaining, and the selection of beers was decent. Surprised that there was live music on a Thursday evening; the singer-guitarist was good and the amplification not too loud, at least not on the terrace. Prices are higher for non-members of the Davistown RSL Club (The Davo), which the restaurant is a part of.

Great spot for a sunny day - Edit
The outdoor area overlooking Kincumber Broadwaters is a beautiful spot to spend some time on a sunny day. I had the Mushroom Burger and really enjoyed my meal.
