So Good!! - Edit
Love this place! 100% plant based, tasty, satisfying comfort food, beautiful presentation and large portions! The decor is adorable, the people are welcoming and friendly. We arrived mid-Sunday afternoon after a musician had just finished playing and was packing up - I’m sorry we missed the performance. Christian music played in the background.

Wonderful vegan food in a super friendly place - Edit
We met a friend at BS for lunch for the first time and will definitely come back. The menu is huge. Although brunch fare was available, we opted for lunch options (I ordered a delicious Philly cheese wrap with mushrooms). Food was fresh, plentiful, and well seasoned. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

the best of the best - Edit
no exaggeration, this was some of the best food i have ever had. you HAVE to go here. we got unmeatloaf with creamy onion and chives mashed potatoes as well as vegan pepper steak and rice (fyi we had to go, so that’s why our food is in to-go boxes). i’m positive that the other dishes are also excellent, but i highly recommend ordering what we had!! the restaurant was decorated so nicely, and they even had live music when we came.

All Vegan Comes to Lawrenceville! - Edit
After 12 years of living too far from vegan restaurants there is finally one less than 10 minutes from home! Friendliest restaurant I’ve ever been to, really delicious menu options, lovely atmosphere, live music is entertaining and not overwhelming, and not too expensive for an exceptional dining experience.
Read moreWe’ve come here three times … my spouse, and my cousin and her spouse (I’m the only one in the group who chooses an all-vegan diet) … twice for carry out and once for inside dining. We’ve had the meatloaf, chili, mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, lime cilantro chicken, sweet potato casserole, and two varieties of cake. Everything has been delicious and the service is consistently friendly, welcoming, and the right level of attention from the server.
I’ve driven from Lawrenceville to downtown Atlanta and Sandy Springs to enjoy all vegan restaurants … very good ones. This one is among the top and it’s 10 minutes away! We will be regulars.

Great Food, Atmosphere, and Vibes - Edit
This is officially one of my fave places to go. The staff is always friendly, the food is flavorful and authentic, and the atmosphere is a total vibe. 10 out 10 I highly recommend.
Read moreMy favorite items are the veggie dumpling, fried okra, sweet potato souffle, the gumbo, the Philly Cheese Steak, and my favorite sides are the collard greens, black eye peas and the Mac and cheese.
Some days, the service staff is a little slow because it may not be that many servers working. Please be patient and be kind. The food comes out quick, and the servers are always nice. Trust it's worth the wait (which is not that long)
Pros: Authentic Home Cooked Soul Food, Great Service , Friendly Staff
Cons: Currently does not serve alcohol , Can be a little pricey

Pretty Good - Edit
The food was good and the portion sizes were hearty. I agree with another reviewer that they charge midtown prices. Our waitress was very nice, but someone needs to greet people the second they enter the door. We weren’t greeted and waited 10 minutes for service. Others weren’t as patient and walked out after waiting a couple of minutes.

Not my favorite. - Edit
I HATE to give anything other than 5 stars to a full vegan restaurant. However, the Boujee Southerner still has a lot of kinks to work out. First, the price. They're charging herban fix pricing when they're in a run down strip mall way outside of town. The French Toast flight is $18 and it's nothing special. My husband says I make it better at home. I ordered the Boujee vibes brunch bowl. This dish was drier than the Sahara, and just as tasteless. It's frozen unseasoned diced potatoes. Topped with a cut up frozen sausage patty some dry bread, a zero egg patty, and a few lightly sauteed onions and peppers. Where is the flavor?! No chez, no gravy, no aioli, no salsa, just dry and bland. When I asked for something to make it less dry all they offered were wing sauces?
Read moreNo alcohol, and they didn't even have regular sweet tea. How are you going to call yourself a southern restaurant without traditional sweet tea? I was excited about the gift shop but it was lackluster at best.
What they did right:
The service was good and attentive. The pot stickers were very good, though they didn't come with traditional dumplings sauce. Still good though. My husband loved the Boujee crunch coffee. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful once you get inside.
I made a 2 hour drive to visit this place and just feel all around let down.
Pros: Service is great, Parking is easy and plentiful
Cons: Expensive for no reason, Small menu, Food can be very bland

Food for the soul! - Edit
I'm so glad I found this restaurant. It's beautiful, clean, and the food is 🔥! I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and I ate it so fast I forgot to snap a picture. Others in my party had the Steak and peppers, mac n cheese, Chicken Philly, greens, dumplings, chicken fingers, and everything was delicious! Please be patient as the wait may be long if you don't have a reservation.

Will be Back - Edit
Started w the lemon pepper wings which had excellent flavor. I had the meatloaf with mac n cheese. Wow! I don't think I've had vegan meatloaf before but it was so good, as was the gravy. The mac was also yummy with a cajun twist. Everything had great texture and mix of flavors - well seasoned. Finished with the yellow cake with lemon icing - very good. I can't wait to come back with friends, and to try out brunch. #Veganuary

‘Oh My Gosh’ Good Food - Edit
So glad to find this jewel in near downtown Lawrenceville. Excellent food and amazing service by our server Brett. Everyone, vegan or not, will love this place. The fried okra appetizer was fantastic and large enough for several diners. My husband (who is not vegan) loved the Mac and cheese, chili, and okra. I also enjoyed the collard greens which he didn’t have room to try. We will definitely be back for many return visits.
