Fine dining and quality food

The reviews before me don't lie. This place is hands down quality food with a classy atmosphere. We ate there at dinner time. It was complete with dim lighting, candle light, your very own water pitcher, setting the mood was all things fancy. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. We had chikn fried steak and the Carolina BBQ sandwich. - nothing but good things to say. Taste was fabulous!

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Pricey

Amazing

I absolutely loved everything that we ordered and we ordered a LOT. Their Mac and Cheese is about the best vegan Mac I’ve had. But when you mix it with their glazed Brussels sprouts it’s mind blowing.
We went with a few omni friends and they were still raving about the food the next day.

Pros: Vegan southern/comfort food elevated, Tons of drink options, Really friendly staff

Cons: It’s 1,000 miles from where I live 😭

I wish I’ve loved it.

Has so many good reviews that I was really hoping to love it. I brought non vegan friends with me to “blow their minds”. Did not happen.
The food is good. Not incredibly nor amazing. Just good. We set outside and the flys were literally all over the place. I know is summer but really? I’m sorry I didn’t like the place. Maybe was a bad day. This is my experience. I would not be coming back if ever in town.

Pros: The whole menu is vegan, Lost of options , Good drinks

Cons: Flys all over the place. , Regular tasting food. , Flys all over the place

Wonderfully tasty restaurant

You can always tell when a real chef cooks at a restaurant. There are very interesting dishes and lots of flavors. The beer selection is fantastic as well. I enjoyed the service from the waiter also.

Pros: 100% vegan, Craft beers, Flavorful food

Great for Austin!

Went here with 3 non-veg friends for my birthday. Service took a bit long, but food was good. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because a lot of the food was stuff I could make on my own rather than unique vegan foods. All of their menu items I’ve had better at other places in my time as veg. Loved their house made seitan and the beers beer flights. Wish their aesthetic was a bit cuter but overall, just grateful to have a vegan place in Austin!

Pros: Homemade seitan, BEER

Cool vibe!

Celebrated my birthday here a couple years ago. They have excellent adult beverages and even better vegan food. The brussel sprouts and buffalo cauliflower wings were my favorite. We had a large party and the service was phenomenal!

Great breakfasts

The food here is really tasty, but I found the service to be a bit on the slow side. I think the best breakfast dish on the menu is the tofu scramble with the Beyond Sausage. I ordered a la carte, but would recommend ordering entrees of you are hungry.

Pros: Great food

Cons: Slow service

Phenomenal

Food was amazing! we got the Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese and hot and spicy sandwich. The hot and spicy was a bit too spicy for us but everything else was so flavorful and fresh! Will be going back!

Fine dining with a casual feel

Courteous staff like found at fine dining. Best Cashew “Mac and cheese” I’ve ever eaten. Unique dinner offerings that were very tasty. App and 1 dinner entree enough for 2 people.

Pros: Top notch service like fine dining, Unique main plate offerings, 100% vegan

Cons: Pricy

Recommend a reservation!!!!

Went here on a Friday night. Right now they are only seating guests outside so it took an hour to be sat. The patio is beautiful and great date night feels. Drinks were phenomenal and I’m sad I wasn’t able to try everything on the menu. Upscale vegan pub food! Only down fall it is on the pricer side. But was worth it!

Pros: Upscale vegan pub food, Great cocktail menu , Beautiful patio

Cons: Expensive , Right now no indoor seating ,

A True Vegan Classic

I’ve had just about every birthday dinner here since they opened. My Omni & Veg friends and family all LOVE it as much as I do!
It is on the pricey side, but I think that’s really reflected in the quality of the food.
Some highlights from the menu include the mac n cheese, buffalo cauliflower wings, Korean broccolini, the chicken and waffles, and the INCREDIBLE tres leches cake. But really, you can’t go wrong.

Pros: Extensive & delicious menu, Pleases vegans & omnis, Great drinks list

Cons: Expensive

Casual Class

It feels comfortable enough to pop by in jeans and a t-shirt, but also classy enough to go for a date or special occasion. The food was really tasty. I absolutely loved the borscht! Also, the portion was really healthy. It’s not often that I order an entree and can’t finish it. I took about half of the our entrees home with us, except the soup, which is more of an appetizer.

Pros: Borscht!, All vegan, Good social distancing practices in place.

This place is amazing! We went here for brunch awhile back and their "chicken" n waffles was THE best we've ever had while being vegan. The atmosphere was great and the staff we friendly! Highly recommended!

Cons: They do run out of some items so don't wait!

Love this place

Great ambiance, nice service, good food options. No soy items on the menu (which is a shame because I like soy...) Very nice beer selection. They seem to take extra care during this coronavirus crisis of cleaning every menu as soon as they have been touched and spraying frequently

Pros: All vegan, Nice ambiance

Cons: Bit pricey, No soy options , Mostly sandwiches

Omg Nashville

Nashville Hot & Crispy (hot, crispy, spicy, creamy, pickled deliciousness). 20 people waiting outside at 5 for dinner opening. ‘Nuff said. We snagged seat at bar thanks to rec of hostess whom we called earlier in day.

Some things were great, others were ok

I loved all of the creative options available. I got the chicken and gravy and thought it tasted quite good but it could have been more interesting flavor-wise. My boyfriend got the Chicago Italian beef sandwich and was blown away, my brother got the bahn mi and thought it was good. The mac n cheese was really good as well.

Nothing but awesomeness

Original review - 9/29/19:
I’ve been a few times with my wife and friends for brunch always and have gotten to try a variety of different options. The first time I had the oysters and grits and the next time I had the tarry town scramble. I got to sample the “chicken” from the chicken and waffles, the blt, and the carrot lox and all were fantastic. Cool vibe, great food - hard to beat.

Update - 3/1/20

Came back for dinner and ordered the buffalo wings as an appetizer, tikka masala for entree, and tres leches for dessert. My wife had the ‘chicken’ and gravy. The wings were stellar, including the sauce they came alongside. They were the spicy option and were the perfect amount of spicy. They also had some celery on the side. The tikka masala was good, but not as good as the wings. The cardamom taste was a little heavy, but I like cardamom so didn’t consider it a detraction. The naan was great. I would have preferred brown rice to white, but will say that the texture of the rice was nice and soft and sticky without being undercooked. My wife’s seitan was pretty awesome. It came with a couple of different potato types and cooked greens. The gravy topping the seitan had peanut notes and the fry batter on the seitan was crunchy and delicious. A great, and very filling meal. The tres leches, though, was the star of the show. With a creamy marshmallow topping that was neither too chewy or goopy, and a perfectly moist cake bottom half, the mix of textures and flavors was superb. Still keeping the five stars after three great experiences.

Great Vegan Eats...Cool Atmosphere!

The entire menu is plant-based. Boho-industrial atmosphere...good vibe. We split a Chik'n Caesar salad to start with: excellent dressing, great capers and croutons, amazing faux parmesan flakes. The Chik'n was moist and crispy on the outside...very tasty! Then we had a piping hot skillet of their mac and cheese with a delectable bread crumb topping...outstanding! Hard to tell it was vegan. Onto the entrees...I had Tikki Masala...great for not containing dairy, would rate it a 7. My husband had the Chicago-style Italian Beef sandwich with fries. The faux seitan meat was tasty and cooked exceptionally well. The roll was toasted perfectly, but now the fries....they nailed them!! We hail from Chicago (some 30 years back) and these fries are exactly like I remember from my favorite hot dog stands! Skins on and greasy and cooked half-raw in that decadent way that I thought only Chicago HD stands knew how to do...I was proven wrong. They were absolutely delicious and totally digestible too, lol...no burps from excessive oil. For dessert, I had the Tres Leches which was fantastic for being dairy-free! All in all, this place rocks...10 out of 10 rating and we'll certainly frequent it again. P.S. Reservations are recommended, as it was a Thursday night and it was packed by 6pm and we barely got two seats...now I can understand why.

Pros: Outstanding and flavorful

Cons: Reservations probably necessary (should expand)
