Quirky spot with good junk food - Edit
Great service, super friendly. Good junk food. We had the fried pickles to start and a burger and bratwurst for mains. It was a Thursday eve and there was live music. I recommend adding the bacun to you burger!

Great vegan restaurant. There is also a full bar area with video games. TV’s to watch sports. Love the environment wish this place was in my city.

Premium vegan junk food! - Edit
Ooooooh man. Bayside’s breakfast burrito is out of this world good. Is it greasy? Sure. Something I’d eat every day? Not likely. However, it is the perfect addition to any road trip / impromptu stop in Everett! I also love the curly fries, the friendly staff, and the funky Chinese-restaurant-turned-vegan-cafe vibe. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping for a junky good time!

Fun vegan diner and hangout - Edit
Updating this review! Bayside has moved to a larger location on Broadway. This was a former Chinese restaurant and Bayside has updated the look. It has a super vegan, punk, artsy, hangout feel --the kind of place I love to visit when traveling (in my neighborhood!).
Read moreFamily-owned The Bayside Cafe surprised us by opening during the pandemic as an all vegan grill with burgers, hotdogs, fries, onion rings, tots, and fried mushrooms and fulfilling our need for take out and comfort during those long days when we were lonely essential workers.
Now I've been enjoying dining in -- I am obsessed with getting the Pulled Porkless Sandwich (BBQ sauce, soy curls, coleslaw) as a wrap.
They still don't have tons of veggies on the menu, but you can get a side salad now. They have some fun specials (which sometimes are a bit too decadent for me --chee + fakun + faux meat, but sometimes they really hit the mark). Portions are large and it's easy to split if you have a smaller appetite or want to share appetizers. Sometimes the specials include mushrooms from Black Forest Mushrooms up the street --yum! They also have a selection of locally made cupcakes for dessert. They also carry the fabulous local Soundbite Cider on tap
They do have a few breakfast items, but don't open until 11. They can't do everything! But if they could an early breakfast would be my dream.
Staff are super friendly and we've run into friends and neighbors here. Love this place!

1st time and it won’t be the last - Edit
I was super excited to go here since everyone I know absolutely raves about their food, and I can happily say they are so right! The service was friendly and quick, but I did go at a good time where they weren’t busy. The food was absolutely delicious, and the sauces were unbelievable, I don’t think I have had a better ranch.

Tasty, all-vegan diner - Edit
Full menu of delicious vegan comfort food. I've only been there twice but everything was great. Worth the trip north to Everett to eat there. The breakfast burrito was huge and very filling--can easily be shared by two people. I am looking forward to exploring more of the menu in the future.

Would eat here all the time if I lived closer - Edit
I’d been wanting to try Bayside Cafe for a while and I was truly blown away! We decided to have the breakfast sandwich and breakfast wrap, and as someone with extremely high standards for breakfast food, this was BY FAR the best wrap I’ve ever had. Not only was it massive (could have easily been 2 meals) but it was stuffed with egg, sausage, bacon, hash browns, cheese, sauce, and tofu 🤤 I’m literally already planning the next time I can come back for that breakfast wrap. Not only did the food rock but the staff were super friendly too. Also, you can bring your pups here! All vegan and absolutely delicious- take your non vegan friends here to show them they don’t need cruelty on their plates!

Laid back, funky little slice of vegan heaven. My family and I are so happy we stopped in on our way through Everett.
Read moreGreat food. My kids who are not vegan loved their vegan burgers! My husband was super happy to get a breakfast sandwich at dinner time! Fries are really good! My Buffalo sliders were really good. They could have been cooked a bit crispier but that’s just my personal preference and flavours were awesome! Salad was fresh and really good!
Amazing atmosphere. They have board games to play while you wait for your food. I love all of the vegan friendly wall art, it makes me so happy to see a place so aligned with my values.
Server was so friendly and accommodating. Chef was super friendly too. Such nice people.
Thank you for the sticker!!

Good food, friendly staff - Edit
Great diner food, and the staff were amazing— super friendly, helpful, and attentive, even on a busy Friday night. Would recommend. I even think non-vegans might like it, so bring a friend! Music was old school ska, which was fun (but not too loud— we could still talk over it). And atmospheric was clean and funky. We loved it! #Veganuary

Cool Vibe and good food - Edit
They had a unique soda option (including pineapple cream 😃)and the food was good. We had old school type cheese nachos (liquid cheese and round corn chips, like you got at the skating rink as a kid) a pulled pork-less burger, a BBQ burger and we took banana cakes to go.
Read moreThe gluten free bun was good, but there were not a lot of gluten free items, mostly burger type options.
Both the curly and regular fries had gluten, so the only option was tots for a side if you need gluten free.
The banana cakes were good, and not special, not much different than muffins I often make at home.
It's about an hour away from our home, and we would go back for an occasion.
Pros: Soy curls over jackfruit for the pulled pork, Environment, lounge with pinball, 100% vegan menu
Cons: Few GF options , Basic dessert, Limited menu
