Incredible but pricey - Edit
Fancy, expensive place. Lots of complaints in the comments, but not sure why? This spot rules. Costa Rica is expensive, and this spot even more so. But there’s so many vegan choices, from smoothies to pastries and desserts. Also a fantastic place to hang out and work, but it can get super busy. Get the vegan Passionfruit cheesecake!

Great atmosphere no vegan pastries the morning I visited - Edit
Almond milk available for coffee. I went to try the vegan cinnamon rolls which they did not have on hand the morning we went (tues around 9). We did seem to get in right before the rush! Great veggie bowl but no vegan pastries.

They charge vegan milk almost the same price as the cafe itself (3$ extra, so about 6$ for a cappucino 🙈)

Tasty but very expensive - Edit
Tasty but 2-stars because $7 USD for a vegan brownie and $5 USD for a vegan cinnamon roll. I could pay less in a bougie Soho, NYC bakery or coffee shop and get a better vegan treat.

Pretty good cinnamon rolls - Edit
We tried their vegan cinnamon rolls which were quite good, a nice balance between moist and dry. It did however contain raisins, which was not to our liking, but some might find it nice. The price is also very high at 2200 CRC, so it was nice to try but on a budget more is unaffordable.

New favorite coffee shop and bakery. - Edit
This has quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops in Uvita and I love that the bakery offers a VEGAN cinnamon roll that tastes wondeful and lattes with flavored syrups (yep.... I like my lattes like that!) They also have matcha and golden milk!
Read moreI haven't tried their Vegetarian bowl for lunch or dinner but it looks like it could be vegan, too.
There is seating on the second level that opens up to the rest of the bakery, but it feels private and I enjoyed doing my work up there.
I wish there were more vegan options and would love to see more flavors for the lattes, such as lavender and rose lattes.🥰
