It was my first morning in Brussels and starving! The staff were lovely and welcoming, was comfortable to sit, read and plan what I was going to do in the city.

Interesting concept and very pretty - Edit
Designed for photos, the Avocado Show has plenty of inside seating, some inside, outside, and upstairs. I didn't see an accessible toilet, which is worthy of note.
Read moreA limited menu, but plenty of vegan options mixed in - pancakes, toast, burger, poke bowl, and some starters and desserts.
Food is nice and fresh, good portions. We loved the avocado fries, which came with delicious truffle mayo. I had the poke bowl, which was delicious and fresh, however, I'd had a similarly good one from a chain the day before for much less. We shared two mains, two drinks, and one starter for €42.
A good restaurant to try once if you love avocado or are nearby but not worth a special visit.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fun and quirky cafe
Cons: Limited opening hours

I got the vegan pancakes and they just didn’t sit well with me. They also didn’t have enough avocado on them. They were good just not great😡

Sehr sehr lecker - Edit
Ich hatte die Mama Mango Poké Bowl und war absolut begeistert. Zum einen sah das Essen sehr sehr gut aus und auch auch genauso geschmeckt. Es war zwar auch etwas teurer, aber für eine Großstadt vollkommen normal.

Nice avocado but over priced - Edit
Came here for a snack which ended up being a meal because everything looked so tasty. The prices are high and the portions small though. Had the Avo Fries which were nice and the Avo Garden which was an avocado with hummus and a bagel. He presentation was very cute with lots of spices and flowers. Ended up paying extra for the Avo Garden because there was some issue with updating to a new menu or something, so that was quite annoying.

Pricey, but delicious - Edit
Jam packed busy restaurant - we had to wait to get a table, but not for long.
Read moreI had the mango poke bowl - with sushi rice, edamame, seaweed, mango, pickled cucumber and avocado. My omni partner had a roe version of the same. He commented both our dishes were like a large, deconstructed Californian roll. Some people said the portions weren't big enough, but we're not big eaters - they were filling for us.
Also we had perfectly good oat milk lattes.
Pros: Tasty, pretty, fresh, fast
Cons: Expensive

Good but expensive - Edit
I had the mango tango toast. The hummus was very good, but hides the taste of the avocado. The mango was frozen. My boyfriend who had the chicken toast don’t have a lot of avocado on it. We also shared the avo fries that was good but that too much fat for me. The restaurant is nice but the price are very expensive I think.

Great for a 'fancy' breakfast - Edit
Went here for breakfast. The meals were nicely presented and tasted delicious. I can recommend the vegan saint stack. The portions look small, but they are really filling! It was a little pricy, but worth it. Come here if you have the time: It took a while before we got our drinks and meals while it was quiet.

Good avocado brekkies! - Edit
Delicious avo garden, bagel witn houmous and avo. Quite pricey for what it was. Had the vegan truffle mayo and it was delicious! Everything is made with or has avocado and not fully vegan so if it’s not your thing give it a miss! Delicious smoothie too but €5 for small glass.

I don't think I can remember a time where I have felt more unwelcome
Read moreThe Waitress ignored me for a while then scowling as if I was causing her a huge inconvenience, told me where I could sit. Despite the place being half empty I was told I couldn't sit in one of the more comfortable chairs because it was for 4 people. I was so unimpressed with the lack of service that i decided to spend my money elsewhere.

If you like avocados and aesthetics - that’s a place for you - Edit
The place is kind of expensive, well, I could say it’s overpriced, BUT for the way the food is served, the originality and the healthy aspect, it’s worth to overpay once. Half of the options are vegan. The avocado toasts are absolutely amazing, smoothies are decent, avocado fries are pretty cool too. Absolutely everything comes with avocado, even yogurt bowls and pancakes. I really love the concept 🥑 definitely worth trying if you’re an avocado lover.

Cute Food - Edit
I had their vegan avocado pancakes and they were super good. I liked this place because it was something new to try, it was a very pretty place to eat, the food was presented very nicely, and the best part the vegan options were labeled. Overall I would recommend this place as a fun food spot to try.
