Delicious ice cream - Edit
Vanilla and salted caramel flavoured ice cream was great to find here. And as a bonus they serve dog friendly ice cream pots too! I didn't eat a full meal, but the menu had quite a few options and the meals looked good.

Meat Free menu - Edit
They had a variety of vegi/ vegan options, I had a vegan buttermilk burger and a side of vegan garlic bread, which was amazing! They also offer vegan options for dessert, honestly the BEST “Vegan Devils Food Cake” I’ve eaten, possibly the best dessert I have had in years! To top it off, the prices were good too! #Veganuary

Heaven! - Edit
Just polished off a vegan 'chicken', mushroom & leek pie with suet crust & I'm so happy! Real comfort food with no compromises... Vegan / Veggie menu section & also a vegan dessert option (Berry oat crumble with ice cream). Generous portions too. All in the beautiful Wye Valley next to Tintern Abbey....

A little underwhelming - Edit
The separate ordering food & drink system didn’t make sense, took a very long time. Quinoa Vegan burger tasted good, though even a couple of slices of lettuce or tomato on the side would have been nice. Nice outdoor space & friendly staff.

Friendly, helpful pub next to Tintern Abby - Edit
This is a large attractive tourist pub next to Tintern Abby with a large playing field and playground adjacent to the pub garden. It was also dog friendly. They had a Sunday menu. I had nut roast, with roast potatoes, veg and gravy, which was very tasty. There was not a desert labelled vegan, but they provided me with a berry crumble, with berry sorbet which was yummy. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient

Pleasantly surprised - Edit
Had a really nice lunch in the pub’s garden, which is beautifully located alongside Tintern Abbey. We tried the quinoa burger with fries and veg casserole with roast potatoes - decent portions of tasty vegan food - along with a lager (which we knew to be vegan friendly).
