Smells of drains - Edit
Intended to eat there, ordered drinks and then as we sat down in the bar area there was an unacceptable smell of drains. Moved tables 3 times but couldn’t get away from the smell. Finished drink and left. Fine if you want to sit in the garden.

Expensive but nice - Edit
I had a nourish bowl which was lovely and I had a pudding which was very nice too. It was expensive though - especially the drinks. Lovely atmosphere and gorgeous garden. I’ve also eaten outdoors in the bbq area and had the salad in a box which was very expensive for what it was but again very nice.

It was great to choose from several options on the menu. I chose the Nourish bowl with beetroot falafels as extra. It was very tasty and filling. My sister chose the vegan burger which she enjoyed (she isn’t actually vegan.) The service was good despite being very busy. I somehow found room for dessert, well if there are vegan options you have to right?! The chocolate chip cookie with banana, chocolate sauce and honeycomb ice cream was very good. Will definitely return. Noticed they have vegan roast on Sundays.

Ordered the vegan burger, came with a side salad that after enquiring (because something tasted off), had animal products in the dressing.
Read moreThey seemed nonchalant, and then felt the need to round the bill up to the nearest pound.
It’s unacceptable to order a vegan dish and for it not to be vegan.
Pros: A couple of friendly staff
Cons: Vegan meals aren’t guaranteed to be vegan. , Manager doesn’t care. , Overcharges.

Very nice resturant, vegan options are lacking - Edit
I note that this place once had an entirely separate vegan menu, however sadly this is no longer the case. It has about 3-4 vegan options on it's normal menu, just enough to give some sort of choice. If you're looking for somewhere to eat with omni friends or family then this is a fair enough option food wise. They have 1 vegan starter and 2 vegan desserts. Despite the limited choice what I did have was very tasty.

I note the review from a couple of days ago about the place having gone downhill, I visited on the 16th of August and it couldn't have been any further from that reviewers experience, I found it a well run place, looks like it may be hit and miss.

Some vegan options, but as a previous reviewer says, most involve arrabiata sauce. They confirmed that the non- meatballs are in fact Linda McCartney ones, a restaurant should make its own surely! The desserts were nicer than the mains, but they looked like the were bought in. It is certainly not the gastropub it used to be. Pretty average food and the place is in need of a spruce up. A bin on the dining floor, flickering light and discarded drinks packaging by our window made me feel like they’re just phoning it in a bit, not much pride taken in what they’re doing. The one asset they do have is the friendly waiting staff.
