Delicious! - Edit
The food was amazing and the service was great. The food was unlike anything I'd ever had, but everything was great and easy to share.

Allium is an experience - Edit
I hardly know where to start with Allium. The service is amazing, the business structure is admirable and the food tops all of that. Everything is made based on seasonally available products. The menu changes frequently but there is always something that you will like. I think most (if not all?) dishes can be easily made vegan.

Great for date night! - Edit
Went here for date night and was amazed with the quality of the food - I highly recommend trying the mushrooms as an appetizer! Great ambiance, beautiful platings, and savoury vegan options. Dessert was to die for!
Read morePortions are quite small, the idea being that you order several dishes and share with your table. However, that gets quite pricey quite quickly. Not somewhere we would go on a regular basis for that reason alone, but great for special events (or when you just feel fancy!). Worth every penny.
Pros: Great for date night , Gourmet dishes, Desserts to die for!
Cons: Expensive , Small portions

Great concept - Edit
Went here for the Valentines set 3 course menu. Was super excited to try the place as I've heard good things and I love visiting vegetarian / vegan spots. Nice ambience in the restaurant and I love the cooperative concept. The food looked beautiful but didn't feel it fully delivered on flavour. Would happily go again though.

Yum! - Edit
Tasty fine dining for decent prices! We tried the pickled mushrooms and sourdough jalapeño pretzels small plates and both were delicious! The grandma’s garden cocktail was super tasty as well. Plenty of dishes are vegan or can be made vegan.

You need to try this place! - Edit
The dishes are meant to be shared and did just that. We ordered 3 small dishes and 1 large for 2 people, and while it was one too many, we finished off everything as it was so delicious.
Read moreThe hazelnut, beet, walnut and carrot pate and the fried pickled mushrooms with miso gravy were our favourites.
The Allium is an elevated plant-based restaurant focusing on ethical, local, creative food and libations. It's also a cooperative business, so everyone working is equally invested. The owners themselves are the ones behind the scenes, creating the meals making the drinks and or serving the food.

Great food and atmosphere! - Edit
Very flavourful, fresh and vegetable focussed cuisine. Really liked our dishes all served as tapas for sharing; the hazelnut dip, pickled mushrooms with gravy, mulligatawny, crusted broccoli and cauliflower, jalepeno pretzels with sweet mustard. Nice space and lovely staff.
