Serves meat, vegan options available. Thai food restaurant where you could get tofu in most dishes. Open Mon-Thu 11:00am-9:30pm, Fri 11:00am-10:00pm, Sat 11:30am-10:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-9:30pm.
A cozy restaurant with a comfortable decor, perfect for quiet meals. The food quality is good-the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Omnivore visitors with us enjoyed their meals, too. They hit the spice level requested of all diners. The lunches Monday through Friday are a reasonably priced. We were seated immediately and beverages were brought promptly and our orders taken soon thereafter. It was a really pleasant experience but by far the best factors are the WIDE variety of vegan entrees available and the cozy, pleasant atmosphere.
This was my first experience with Thai food and it was excellent!
I got Gang Kiew Wan medium spicy based on the previous reviewer's comments and it was great! Didn't have an issue with soggy tofu but that may be because I'm a fast eater, lol.
Veggie spring rolls wete standard but good. Not the thin clear wrapping, but a flour based one.
Mango sticky rice was a first as well and was so nice. I usually never get dessert and I enjoyed it a great deal.
This is my favorite of the three Thai restaurants in Augusta. It's got the best prices for the amount of food and the staff seems knowledgeable about which dishes can be made vegan. Also note that the dinner portions are big enough to split with two people.
My favorite dishes are all three curries and the spring rolls that come with a delicious sweet dipping sauce. (My #1 choice would be the green curry: gang kiew wan... you can get it with either tofu & veggies or just veggies. I recommend asking for the tofu separately if you are getting it to-go so it won't get too soggy.) My only warning is that they will ask you how hot you want your dish and even if you say not at all it still is a bit spicy... so just be aware if you are a person who is sensitive to spicy foods.
I can't wait to try other dishes and am so pleased that the owners and staff are willing to modify dishes to make them fully vegan!

Awesome Thai - Edit
Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in the country. Great tom kha, pad thai, curries. The owners are wonderful people and very helpful to vegans.
