Vegan options, and tasty, too - Edit
I was happy to stumble upon this sweet family-run Thai place when I stopped in Childress to top up at the Tesla supercharger (just a block away) on a road trip.
Read moreThere are five items in the "vegetarian" section of the menu, though other dishes might also be customized. Be sure to request no egg, no fish sauce, and no shrimp paste.
I had the "spicy tofu kra-pow," which was delicious. I didn't find it as spicy as I'd hoped, so if you like your Thai dishes to bite back, you might let them know.
Service was very friendly, and it was nice to see a lot of locals coming in for lunch.

PS: You know you're in Texas when you order green tea at a Thai Restaurant and they warn you that it isn't iced tea!😉
