Excellent Thai Food - Edit
Let them know if you don’t want fish sauce, but most things can be made vegan. I love the red curry and the Thai basil. Service is always excellent. Decent wine selection in the food is always good. It’s better than there South Charlotte location.

Be cautious and keep stating you want it vegan - Edit
I just lucked up on this place because Bahni Bro were closed and I was hungry. I seen that they have vegan options. I went and looked over the menu. My thing is I think that people don’t know the difference between vegetarian and vegan.
Read moreI was asking about the vegan options and she immediately said yes we have vegetarian options. I had to explain to her that I don’t eat egg which was stated that was in the vegetarian options.
I just asked did they have a vegetable plate. I mean who can mess up just veggies, right. She pointed me to the selection of noodles that had just vegetables I ordered that I kept asking is this going to be vegan, right. She immediately was a tad bit pushy and said yes vegetarian. I had to explain again no I don’t want egg she said showed me the noodles that don’t have egg.
Once I ordered she repeated it back and said tofu. I don’t like no ones tofu and plus can’t have a lot of soy. I asked not to put tofu on just the noodles with veggies. The plate was small for $15, but it was pretty good the veggies were seasoned and I got the mild flavor.
I wouldn’t go back there I try to stir away from places that don’t know the difference in vegan and vegetarian. Clearly they don’t.
Pros: Good food
Cons: Don’t know the difference in vegan and vegetarian , Waitress was a little pushy , Small inside

Order with Caution - Edit
I hope what happened to me was just a one-time mistake, but it honestly didn’t seem like it.
Read moreI ordered tofu pad Thai for delivery and specified no egg or fish sauce (stating I was vegan). I didn’t think this would cause any issues, since they are listed on Happy Cow and I’ve never had a problem ordering vegan at a Thai place.
My food not only had egg pieces mixed all into it, but had what I can only assume to be mayo mixed into the sauce (is that even a thing for Thai food?!). I’m left baffled, upset and sick to my stomach from the few bites I had before noticing what was in my food
Cons: Not vegan aware, Lots of meat and eggs on the menu, Incorrect order

Delicious - Edit
My friend and I were passing through the Charlotte area and decided to try the Thai House because I'm vegetarian and we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful. I had the vegetarian yellow curry and it was the best I have ever had. I would also recommend the sticky rice for desert:)
