Not my fav.. - Edit
We love Thai food and eat it often. Not a big fan of what we got from here. We normally order a big spread but our kids were asleep so we only ordered a veggie pad see ew and a tamarind tofu.
Read moreYea… I wish I hadn’t ordered the tamarind tofu, I was not a fan. Hard to explain, but not exactly what I was expecting. I was starving so I ate it, but I didn’t enjoy it.
The pad see ew was so confusing. It lacked literally almost any flavor at all. It just tasted like plain noodles in some oil.
My husband had to add lots of chili sauce to give it some kind of flavor. I didn’t give it 1 star because I felt I should have just stuck to my typical curry and also for the fact that they were open late and provided us something to eat in the area when almost everyone else was closed.

Veg Options - Edit
I told them I was vegan and the options were pointed out right away. She said that she would let the cook know not to use fish sauce or any animal product in our food.

Interesting flavors - Edit
Due to Bartow's lack of veg-friendly restaurants, I made the drive to Winter Haven last night. It was well worth it! I parked on 4th next to the park and easily found Thai Haven among the other shops and eateries. My waitress was very familiar with which items were vegan. The menu was a little confusing at first glance as to what was vegetarian, but I quickly found out that pretty much anything could be ordered as such. I ordered jasmine tea, fried spring rolls, phad thai (order without egg), and banana delight (can be ordered with or without honey). The flavors were pretty intense and delicious. I'm not sure what part of Thailand the chef(s) came from, but the spices used were unlike any I have had before. The presentation was also beautiful. My only complaint is that you have to open multiple doors to get back from the bathroom and they only have an air hand dryer, so your hands aren't exactly clean unless you use your sleeve to open the doors. I will definitely be eating here again.
