Best vegan food in Amsterdam - Edit
We went here for dinner one evening. Ordered the Jamaican curry with sides of plantain, terra fries and sweet potatoes. This was the best meal we had during our week in Amsterdam. The food is homemade with the most amazing flavours! The restaurant has a really nice relaxed and homely feel to it. Cannot wait to go back!

Most special flavours! - Edit
I have been here with my boyfriend two years ago and the flavours are so special, I think it's one of the best restaurants I have been to, even if it looks so unimpressive from the outside. We will visit Amsterdam again next week and I am really looking foreward to eat at TerraZen again!

Good vegan food - Edit
I was very intrigued to try this place and found it very hard to choose! Great to be spoilt for choice as a vegan... the food was good but think some of the ingredients may have been missing and the fries we ordered came after everything was finished and we were kinda full up. I wasn't too convinced how welcome we were, but we didn't have a reservation and it might just have been that they were kinda laid back. Probably won't rush back but may one day return to try another option.

My favourite place to eat on the planet. The Japanese-Caribbean fusion food is so fresh and interesting. Every time I come to Amsterdam I make sure I come here, sometimes twice in the same trip. This time I tried the okonomiyaki and it was fantastic!

Tasty! 😋 - Edit
Very tasty food, lots of options. The place itself is pretty small, but it doesn't impede on the experience.

Cosy place - Edit
Nice and cosy place in a small alley, close to the busy streets. The food was good, I took a Vegan plate, which was generous and tasty, special mention to the chicken.

Lovely small restaurant with friendly owners. The food is delicious, but the portions can be quite small while the price isn't low. There are some expections though.

Taste sensation - Edit
Small place tucked away down a side road. The food was INCREDIBLE! Meat like pieces that had a really great taste. Exploding flavours, enjoyed every mouthful! We needed to keep our coats on as it was a bit cold but the tables are high which means you get to dangle your sore feet. Would defo recommend and be going back if we were here any longer!

Comfort food - Edit
I get why people either hate or love Terrazen, it is indeed a bit shabby and pricey BUT the food is great. Yes, it’s probably not the healthiest option in Amsterdam but if you don’t mind about that and you’re just looking for some comfort food this is the place to go. I didn’t want to go at first because of some of the reviews I read here...well I went anyway and did not regret it! loved the food, I think it was very flavourful and filling but if you don’t like fried foods go somewhere else.

Shabby and pricy boring food - Edit
To be honest, we once wanted to eat here, but quickly left because it was so dirty. Because of all the great reviews we made a second attempt a year later or so. The style of the place was definitely improved by then, so we stayed. We had the vegan plate which was really exceptionally boring and very expensive. Maybe the rest of the food is better, but we didn't try it. Too bad.
