nice small-scale restaurant - Edit
cute and artsy restaurant that I came across in Amsterdam, I was interested in the japanese-carribean fusion which I thought was really unique. I got their vegan plate which was very filling and full of fresh veggies :)

Amazing curry! - Edit
This place has been around so long which is super cool. My curry I had was up there in cost but honestly worth it. It was amazing.

Ok food - Edit
The service was great. We had the vegan plate - it was ok but nothing special. Also I found it way too pricey for what you get (18.5 euros for one plate)

Tasty - Edit
Lots of tasty options… went there twice. It’s a no-frills place… they put the love in the food - not in the place / decoration.

Cozy, healthy spot! - Edit
I had the açaí bowl and a hot ginger tisane/tea. I want to come back for the Jamaican plate. I loved the ethnic fusion of the plates and the reggae-ish music!

Flavourful food in quiet laneway - Edit
We had a great time at TerraZen. Caribbean/Japanese fusion sounds weird on paper but totally works. The food is very flavourful.
Read moreThere are big tables inside and three small tables outside. It was very hot inside and we were lucky to get a table outside in the quiet laneway.
All 4 dishes we tried were delicious and we washed it all down with tasty Jamaican ginger beer.
All the staff were very friendly.
Sadly we had no room to try dessert but they looked good.
Pros: All vegan, Flavourful food, Quiet laneway

Favorite spot in Amsterdam - Edit
This was my favorite spot in Amsterdam visiting time and time again, year after year. I hope it never changes and is always there exactly the same for the event I might return again in the future.

Loved the food. Tucked away in a side street. Small staff and patience required because they are all working hard to help everyone. We enjoyed the jamaican bowl. gyoza, spring rolls, and okonomiyaki.

Great hidden jem - Edit
Very good vegan gem In Amsterdam! This little restaurant has a very chill and homey vibe. The menu is fully vegan. I had the Vegan Plate and it was honestly amazing! I would definitely recommend coming here while in Amsterdam, especially to get away from the crowds and just chill for a bit with good vegan food.

Cute Hidden Gem 💎 - Edit
This was us kinda out of the way of all the busy streets which was exactly what we needed after walking around nearly being hit by bikes and trams! Loads of really yummy sounding options, I went for the Caribbean Plate which was very good and my other half (non veg) had the Vegan Plate and spoke very highly of it! Would definitely recommend!

Cons: A little pricy tbh
