Great variety of choices - Edit
The food was tasty, but a bit oily for me, but otherwise there are many to choose from the menu that is really diverse. My gf went for eggplant-herring expecting a little fishy taste, but it didn't meet her expectations, it was basically pickled eggplant. The Tom Yum soup was really amazing though!

One of the best vegan restaurants ever! - Edit
This 100% vegan restaurant is definitely one of the best vegan restaurants we have been to in the Baltic States. It might actually be the best one!
Read moreThe staff was really nice and helpful and advised us the best dishes. I was not really hungry but wanted to taste different things so they made half of a portion of the soup for me. In case I could not have finished my meal they gave me the possibility to bring it home in a doggy back.
We tried the chilled soya yogurt soup and soup of the day (carrot-mango) and the kebab salad and breaded soy filet. The dishes were incredibly tasty. I have not often tried vegan food so well prepared and tasty. Loved all of it! The dishes were quite big but very reasonably priced.
There was no terrace when we went there on 9th of August. But the street was under construction so maybe there was just no terrace at that moment.
Pros: 100% vegan, Incredibly tasty and copious dishes, Very reasonable prices
Cons: No terrace (beginning of August)

Nice light atmosphere, lots of plants and big windows. We had seitan burgers and two different kinds of cake and everything was fresh and delicious! The waiter spoke fluent English and was very friendly.

Delicious wrap & curry - Edit
We ordered carrot 'salmon' wrap and mango curry. Mango curry was very good and tasty. Wrap was delicious, I have never tried to prepare carrot this way, definitely try it at home. Portions were very generous, actually I got two 'larger' halfs so I have to take the second one with me to eat it later.

Not my taste - Edit
Third time I go... And definitely there is something I feel wrong. All food are heavy, a "miso soup" (you expect a simple and light Japanese food) is thick and probably too tasty. A"greek salad" and the quantity of fresh onion and vinegar dressing makes also this dish challenging. Maybe my taste is too Mediterranean, but two times out of three I have not been satisfied. I would not recommend for a light meal.

Really delicious - Edit
We had a really pleasant and tasty meal. My boyfriend ordered the soup of the day (generous portion) with the seitan burger. Both were well seasoned and delicious. I had the seitan salad and I also appreciate the whole, with a good sauce. The place is also cozy. We will certainly come back when we will visit Riga.

Incredible! - Edit
Went here because it was recommended to us from the people at the zero waste cafe, so glad we went because the food was amazing. Such a huge selection, everything is vegan, really really tasty. Nice vibe to the place too, you just go up and get your own food from the massive buffet. ADVICE though, GO EARLY. people queue up to get in when it opens and it gets full VERY quickly. 100% will go back.

Fantastic vegan brunch on sundays - Edit
Been wanting to have the brunch here ever since I learned about this place and finally had the chance to do it last weekend. It was fantastic! Lots of choice in salads, dips, warm dishes (soup, noodles, veg bakes etc) and desserts (rhubarb and strawberry bake was a favourite of ours!), all vegan - we tried everything on offer and all of it was amazing! Gets pretty busy so reserve a table if you can (tho we got lucky and got seated without a reservation). Dog friendly.

Big and tasty meals. The jackfruit burger is soooo good and was definitely our favorite! It is so ridiculously cheesy and yummy. The cold beet soup was also good as was the mango chickpea curry. I wasn't really excited by the menu but happy with what we ordered. On a side note, the restaurant seemed to be a little understaffed.

Doesn't worth it - Edit
Atmosphere is nice and seems to be the best restaurant in the world, but... We went there couple days ago, and they just had some available tables, but they runned out of food (!!!). They just saved the ingredients to them who booked a table. Ok, our fault. I made a reservation for the next day (yesterday). We went there, we sat in our table. And waited. The girl just told me to sit in the table with my name. Waited for 15 minutes until seeing other customers ordering in the balcony. They didn't "spend their time" saying to us to order there. And we couldn't order a lot of things because they didn't have them anymore, so we ordered burgers (and almost the whole city offers vegan burgers...). They were good, but nothing more. Nothing special, like the previous reviews. Also, the staff is very grumpy. I made also a review on Google and they answered me: "(...) ...And, yes, unfortunately there is problem with some of the staff members, especially in a busy evening. Be sure, that we don't like it too and are working on that!". They have to keep in mind that is NOT the customer's fault. We simply order, pay, wait, eat and leave. They don't have the right to mistreat us. If you don't want to have a "busy evening", just close the restaurant. Don't recommend it. If you, even after the latest reviews, wanna try it, book a table, and book to go for lunch, because at dinner they may not have 50% of the options. Or have a dinner between 4-5 pm.

My favorite in Riga: cheap, homemade and very tasty - Edit
Terapija is definitely my favorite vegan restaurant in Riga. Food is homemade, generous and very tasty. I took one burger with vegan cheese that came with a big slice of it, a wok of tofu and vegetables and the miso soup. Be aware that the miso soup is huge, with vegetables, noodles and even tempeh! It's like a full dish, not a starter. Everything was tasty and fresh, the seitan burger steak is excellent, and portions are generous with low prices. This restaurant is a must-do in Riga and worth the trip (it is not in the very city center). I would come back again if I can!

Nice place to go, but... - Edit
We shared the starter plate with tempeh and then had two bowls and some cake for dessert. The food was mostly yummy, only a bit dry for our taste, and they somehow scrimped on the kebab, it was literally some morcels in the middle of the plate. That would have been enough for 4 stars, but the service girl was one of the grumpiest persons we’ve ever had the misfortune to meet😡
