Not living up to the high expectations - Edit
Honestly, we heard so many good things in advance and got a little bit disappointed when finally visiting. We got the chicken wings and somehow the shape was off and the taste was grainy. But the texture was great.

Decent KFC Style Vegan Junk Food - Edit
Looked forward to trying this place for ages but was a little hesitant from some of the reviews, so I got the value box of two tenders and chips for about £6 which is pretty good value for London. I did find the seitan to be a bit soft and watery. It lacked flavour somewhat but, then again, that means it's fairly close to real chicken and I can imagine this fooling a few omnis! In terms of the coating I'd say it's a pretty close dupe to KFC. Chips were really nice, they tasted a little bit sweet which I liked!

Wasn’t really impressed - Edit
I was looking forward to trying the food from here since walking past it a few times in Camden.
Read moreI ordered a sweet chill wrap meal with a vanilla milkshake and my boyfriend had a cheeseburger meal.
The sweet chilli wrap looked like I could’ve made it at home. It was poorly wrapped with one chickn tender in it and no salad. It was pretty flavourless and definitely not the worth the price. The chips were a good size and tasted okay. The vanilla milkshake was ridiculously small. It was smaller than a kids drink at Mcdonalds, which I didn’t expect when I had to pay extra on top of the regular meal price. I’d assume it would be regular size.
My boyfriend said he enjoyed the burger which looked a decent size and said it was filling.
I won’t be returning as it wasn’t worth the money at all.
We paid £25 for two meals.
Pros: Big menu
Cons: Overpriced, Small portions, Not good value for money

Decent junk food and not too expensive either - Edit
Temple of Seitan was pretty good. I really enjoyed the creamy mac n cheese. The texture of the seitan was quite good but I would have liked the spicy burger with more kick.
Read moreThe service was really friendly and it was one of the cheaper places I ate out at in London too.

Quite okay - Edit
Not the best fast food, but okay. Came here because of a review, expected slightly more. Ordering via app could have been a bit smoother.

It's pretty good - Edit
We liked it. Service was pretty good. We thought we'd stay 'original' and tried the Temple Wings. They're pretty nice. The coating is spot on, but perhaps the seitan could be a little firmer. Just our preference. The fries are amazing.
Read moreIf I was out and about late in Camden and needed a vegan fast food bite to eat, I'd definitely be choosing this place over ALL of the opposition. It's good and we'd recommend it.

0 stars - made us unwell - Edit
My partner and I travelled 60 miles to Temple of Seitan, particularly excited to try the tater tots and milkshakes now that Neat Burger has removed them from their menu. First disappointment was that there were no tater tots or milkshakes available even though they are widely advertised. Whilst disappointed that we had travelled all that way, we ordered a burger, wrap and some popcorn chicken with gravy to share.
Read moreWe have never eaten something so tasteless and insipid in our lives. Honestly, we are not fussy and love supporting vegan restaurants but the food here was just purely gross. There was no flavour to the popcorn chicken and the gravy was practically water. To make it worse, the ketchup bottles provided on SOME tables were empty.
The whole restaurant was just dirty and unwelcoming - it was like a shack cafe. The staff were not friendly and the vibe was just not there.
The final straw was that after our meal, my partner and I started to feel very unwell. The pain in my stomach was unbearable and ruined our night. Would never eat here again.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Gross food, Gross establishment, Makes you unwell

Nice little spot for some tasty fast food - Edit
My first time visiting London in 4 years and had to track this company down again. Just as good as I remembered- the crispy coating is divine and had a lovely strawberry milkshake and tater tots too.

Hit the Spot!! - Edit
Another spot that opened up after I moved out of London. Had a spicy chik’n sandwich & added a slab of “bacon” to it & that was really nice. Side of tots w/ creamy cheese sauce to dip into. Washed it all down with a lovely rhubarb soda. Will try & come back!!

Just one word: WOW!!!!!!!!!! - Edit
I met a friend and her daughter there today as they were having a late lunch, but it was too early in the day for me to eat (I normally only eat once a day, in the evening) so I ordered a humongous takeout while we were still there and had dinner at home with my husband.

good! - Edit
I tried the classic wings & temple tots. Classic Wings was a huge portion. Super tasty but a little dry after a while. Maybe bbq glazed would have been the better option for me but I read that makes them soggy and the crunch was what’s actually really nice about them!

I liked my food but I didn’t leave thinking I need to come back😄I’d still recommend it though!

Hail Seiten - Edit
We were both really excited to try Hail Seiten, as vegan KFC substitutes are lacking. The chips and gravy were amazing. The wings were also really good and we would buy them again, but they can still be improved.

Tasty fast food - Edit
I was finally able to try Temple of Seitan! Hurrah. Food was good, some of the best of that type I've tried although I haven't had the meat equivalent so I'm not sure how good a judge I am, but the crispy coating was flavourful, crisp and not greasy. I had wings with chips and macaroni cheese which was creamy and smokey. I had hoped I'd be hungry enough to try a burger before leaving the area but alas I was still full. Next time!
Read moreAlso I'm glad I don't live close by, having Temple of Seitan and Purezza right on the doorstep would be far too tempting.

THE BEST vegan fried chicken - Edit

Good spot - Edit
I’ve eaten here quite a few times and always love what I have. However the last time I went the burger I had (buffalo glaze burger) wasn’t nice at all. The taste was off and patty was extremely thin and nearly triple the the size of the bun, which meant it was flopping all over the place. I’ve had this burger many times before and this time it was completely different. Hoping it was a one off and they haven’t changed their recipe etc

yummy food, exceptional coffee - Edit
Spent there quite some time before going to a concert at the electric ballroom, staff was really friendly and the food was tasty. They‘re currently working on opening a litte coffee shop in the corner of the restaurant, so they let us try a cup of some new creation for free and it was delicious. If you enjoy good coffee you have to give it a try!
