Fondue and tiramisu! - Edit
My friend and I tried The Mediterranean platter, which came with Crack On (black pepper cheese) and C'e Dairy (cheddar style) and the cheese fondue which came with a deli platter of aubergine, vegan pepperoni, olives and artichokes and bread pieces to dip in the fondue. That was probably enough between 2. My friend had the red wine recommended to accompany the platter and I had a lager. For dessert we both had tiramisu which is my absolute favourite dessert but it was so big I couldn't finish it. The fondue in particular was amazing, and just something different. It was a quiet and intimate setting. The staff were lovely and so helpful and attentive. Would highly recommended!

Superb vegan fondue! 🫕 - Edit
La fauxmagerie has moved from a shop in brick lane to the basement of purezza in Camden! A range of vegan cheese boards available as well as baked camembert and fondue. Nice range of vegan wine. We shared the fondue and it was great - would definitely recommend! Cosy and intimate space, perfect for a date night.

Cheese night! - Edit
When you break your leg and have to cancel birthday dinner plans, you won't go wrong by ordering some cheeses and having a movie night at home instead!
Read moreThe website is easy to navigate and allows you to select your weekday delivery date. The cheeses arrive with a large ice block so stay very cold for their journey!
It was just the two of us, so I ordered La Fauxmagerie's own Clapton Chive and No Smoke Without Fire, along with Kinda Co's Summer Truffle and I Am Nut Ok's Ce'Dairy.
I really feel the standard of vegan cheeses has improved incredibly over the last 10 years, but there is nothing like the artisans to show how it should be done!
These cheeses really pack a punch and we'll be ordering them all for the Christmas cheese board, along with a blue.
The Clapton Chive is a melt in the mouth, strong spring flavours delight.
No Smoke without Fire is a sensory gift that keeps going- from the scented aftermath of an extinguished flame in the first bite to the heated bite of embers not yet extinguished - not so hot to be painful, just hot enough to know it's there.
Summer Truffle is my favourite cheese so far this year. Tangy and light, it couldn't be more accurately named.
Ce'Dairy is an old favourite by now. Always on the Christmas board, punchy enough to stand up to your still-too acidic homemade chutney, smooth enough to settle easily after your lunch. This one is added to every order.
If 4 cheeses can make someone write this much for a short review, what would the others do? I can't wait to order more and neither should you!

Guy Faux - Edit
Inside the Purezza premises, you’ll find a fridge on the left full of La Fauxmagerie products. We kept them in the fridge overnight but by the time they were opened at the cricket the next day they were more like rich spreads. Loved the smokey cheese and appreciated the blue cheese. Perfect with oat cakes and red wine. Unfortunately most vegan cheeses including these ones are made with coconut oil which isn’t particularly healthy but I guess are OK in moderation.

Great experience - Edit
The cheese cellar is only open Thu to Sun evenings and you need to book in advance. We went for both the cheese platter and the fondue and I recommend it. The cheese is paired with a wine or beer most appropriate, the fondue comes with artichokes, eggplant, zucchini, olives and bread. The vibe is nice, the staff is very friendly and the cheese we got was full of flavors

Great selection of cheeses - Edit
Cheese fridges inside Purezza Pizza. Cheese cellar wasn’t open when I was there, need to go back. Got pepper cheese which was delicious and smoked charcoal cheese both from I am Nut OK but the fridge was quite empty the day I was there which was a Monday. Still a good selection!

Heavenly - Edit
We went to La Fauxmagerie just before they moved to their new location. This location was a bit out of the way for us but it was well worth it. I had been planning to go there from California on our trip to England for months! We had the wine fondue. My husband was just following my lead so had no expectations. We both loved it. The dipping food—artichokes, mushrooms, eggplant, bread, of course, were delicious and there was plenty for the two of us. If we ever go back to London we will try the new location.

Wonderful vegan cheese shop! - Edit
We love this place and how delicious their vegan cheese is. This time we bought the new vegan fondue which is incredibly delicious. We also tried the Brixton Blue which we loved as well. Our guest bought a G.o.a.t. which was full of flavor too. They are very generous letting you try different kinds before buying. We always pick something up here when we’re on the neighbourhood. We were sad they didn’t have their Brie. Oh but we also got their Camemvert.

We tried six different cheeses. We really liked the two freshly cut blue cheeses. The ricotta in a jar, the goat cheese and camembert were nice. We didn’t like the burrata at all.

Real cheese, rind and all. This unique shop sells the work of true cheese makers producing flavors I never thought I would get to eat again as a Vegan. On my first visit, I took home the Camemvert, Brixton Blue, Minerthreat, and Nerominded. Highest recommendation, bravo!

Vegan cheese delights - Edit
I had no idea this place was here. I've been to Brick Lane an unhealthy amount of times over the past few years and had no idea this place existed. I think because it is not listed as a restaurant but a shop it doesn't come up when I search for new places. But what an amazing place. There are so many cheeses. The lady let me try so many and they were mind-blowingly tasty. I came away with a number of products and will definitely be back to buy some more on my next trip to the area.

La Fauxmagerie - Edit
I have wanted to visit here ever since I heard that a 100% vegan artisan cheese shop had opened! So on my trip to London this place was on my must visit list. Staff were really friendly, letting me try various cheeses in the counter area. It was like vegan cheese heaven! They stock brands such as I Am Nut Ok and Kinda Co, but also have several own brand big wheels of cheese on offer to sell by weight. Despite not having fridge facilities I could not leave without buying some of their Shoreditch Smoked which was one of my faves. Although it is made with almonds it was ridiculously smooth, creamy and full of flavour. I shall certainly be ordering some more of their cheeses for home delivery. I’d also love to return to try one of the Cheese Cellar events they hold there. An evening of delicious artisan vegan cheeses, what’s not to like!

My favourite culinary experience to date - Edit
all I can say is wow. Wow, wow, happy, cow. So pretty much we went there on Thursday night, which is vegan fondu night. They brought out this pot of melted vegan cheese 😫😫💦 which was heavenly. But wait, there’s more. Shortly after, came a platter of assorted vegetable DELACACIES. Some pickled zucchini, some random artichoke pieces. All to dip into the fondu.
Read moreAaaand they gave us some pieces of bread to mop it up with. It doesn’t get better than that. I kid you not, as soon as the first bight entered my mouth hole I started giggling like a giddy little schoolgirl. Considering I am a straight edge guy, this is REALLY Serious.
I didn’t have a single mouthful that wasn’t heaven. I felt like a king amongst men stabbing my veggies and bread and dipping them into a warm gooey pot of love.
We shared a bottle of Prosecco that was paired with the cheese, and boy did it hit the spot.
It was a little pricey, but that is what is to be expected from such a magnificent establishment. Book in advance for this once in a lifetime experience, there were only about 5 tables in the basement of this cheese shop. Truly heavenly.
5 stars every day of the week, my top 3 vegan restaurants of all time, in contention for #1
