Good vegan lunch. We called to ask until what time the cafe was open, nd the owner went out of her way to make sure to let us know if it was gonna be open when we get there or notđ

Very thankful! - Edit
We have been in Scandinavia for 6 weeks and this is the most wholesome, delicious and healthy meal, we had so far. You really get a lot for your money and feel so nourished after this Lunch! For Dessert we had the raw chocolate cake with strawberrys and it too was fantastic. The owner is very nice and if we lived around here, we would come to Lunch at least once a week. Thank you very much for this experience!

Depressing - Edit
Came in excited to have a âfikaâ, some cake or pie. Was met by what looked like old granola on a tray, and some chocolate balls and a mud cake that both looked like they were made by children. That was all they had. I tried the chocolate ball, and it tasted just as bland as it looked. Wouldnât go back.

The best restaurant in Ăland - Edit
Located around 30-40 minutes from Kalmar it is worth to go there. This is a small place with one daily lunch menu which changes every day and it includes one meal dessert coffee (95 SEK) . Everything is homemade and so delicious. The owner is very nice as well. The interior looks like a gallery because there is always a small exhibition of some local artist.

Genuine & charming - Edit
Came here for lunch (still cannot believe that Borgholm now has an all vegan place!) and was immediately charmed. Friendly and dedicated staff in a lovely, old venue, serving home cooked, delicious food to a reasonable price. An extra gold star for including dessert, which was absolutely yummy! Love the old school vibe of this place and strongly recommend coming here when in town đâïž

Great sandwiches and baked goods! - Edit
Tekla T was new to me when I last visited Borgholm - and I am happy to say I will absolutely go back! Perfectly located on the Storgatan, overlooking all the shoppers and strollers-by, it's housed next to an art gallery (also well worth visiting) and offers both hot and cold foods, as well as baked goods.
Read moreMe and my friend opted for the open faced sandwich with hummus and pea mousse, and some coffee (great choice of coffee btw). It was delicious! Light enough for a scorching summer's day and still filling enough to keep us happy and full for hours.
We decided to hang around a while longer and got a cake each to go with the second cup of coffee... I almost went straight to chocolate heaven. WOW!
This little gem of a place deserves to be noticed and visited so do yourself a favour and pop by. You won't regret it!
Pros: The charming locale, The raw chocolate cake is yummy beyond words, The lovely staff

We had a pie and salad for dinner and were so happy with it. Super fresh organic ingredients and everything is made by the owner. We also tried the ginger cookie that tasted very good. A big variety of raw cakes that looked delicious were available too.

A budding gem! - Edit
Tiny and unimpressive place on the main drag in Borgholm, but man was I blown away by the food! We ordered a savory pie that blew my mind. And for dessert we had a berry pie a la mode which was totally delicious! My kids had the ice cream and love it. I wish I could eat there every day on my visit to Ăland. I belive this is a fairly new place as the owner didn't have a few things in place yet. I hope this place will be there next time I visit.
