Very good food with vegan cheese options - Edit
Went there on August 2019, I had the enmoladas (very good, not the best mole negro I've had but still good) and my s/o had the enfrijoladas (also good). Both could have been a bit more flavoured/spicier for our taste. We also shared a guacamole (size was a bit too small BUT they offered good bread and hummus so that compensates for it ^^) and the nachos (with vegan cheese and good stuff on it like peppers, onions, tomatoes, corn, coriander, etc.). Very filling and very good. Can't remember if it was expensive cause we decided to treat us well this evening, and didn't care for the price, sorry.

We had two of the selection of 5 different vegan burgers. I have had better burgers but they were pretty good overall! Staff was nice and the value is pretty good, especially compared to the restaurants that cater more explicitly to tourists

During our stay in San Cristobal we went to that restaurant multiple times. Everything can be made vegan, they have vegan cheese and also vegan parmesan! We tried the tacos, the pasta pesto and the cordon bleu. Everything was just delicious (especially the cordon bleu - just the softest seitan) and the waitresses super nice and all for a super reasonable price. They also have great vegan snickers. Felt like I was in vegan heaven

I went there twice and had two different experiences. At both times I had as the main course a pasta dish and the first time it was very good (al fredo), the second time (bolognesa) didn't really convince me. The spaghettis were at some point hard as if they were fried in a pan or came too close to fire. I liked the smoothies a lot. The place is quite calm and has an outside terrace for more seats. Waiter was surprisingly not Mexican, which was cool with me.

The food here was very good (I had the spaghetti with vegan pesto). It was a cold day in San Cristobal, unfortunately it was also quite cold on the inside and smelling of burnt food – this spoiled it a bit for me. But if you come prepared (very warm clothes!) or if it is warmer, this could be excellent.

Found this place on Happy Cow app plus only minutes away from my hotel. Loved the interior- simple, bright and open. Beautiful patio in back though a bit chilly to sit outside. Menu was full of vegan options that I asked for recommendations. My server recommended Endrijoladas however they were out of vegan cheese but offered mushrooms instead which was fine by me! Starts off with a coffee choice of soy, almond or coconut milk ( lucky if I found soy milk let alone have three options!!) and a banana carrot muffin. All of their baked good are vegan- again bliss!😍 Ordered fresh orange juice which was huge at least 500 ml in little mason jar! Enjoyed another cup of coffee with lemon drizzle cake and enjoyed chilling with my book. Love this place and can’t recommend it enough. Plugged them in Instagram though they are not on it. A definite must for anyone passing through San Cristobel! Will not be disappointed! Only gave them 4 stars as per Happy Cow rules that establishment is not completely vegan.

Super chill space with a trendy interior and cute courtyard out the back. The La Elemental burger was so good, came with chips with were so nice. Highly recommend their espresso, nachos and juices too. Staff were really friendly and gave me the chance to practice my awful Spanish.

I've been there twice now and I am planning to go there again. The service is very friendly and good and the food is amazing. The juices are so fresh. Love the vegan burgers and the curry. Beautiful restaurant with nice area to sit outside in the backyard.

Such great fresh food! Go for the pesto pasta is is the best Vegan pesto I've ever had! Friendly staff and quick service. Cool look for the interior. All this makes it a must stop when in San cristobal!

Food excellent but service a bit sloppy - Edit
I had the menu of the day, which consisted of a lentil and bean soup with some interesting vegetables and was nicely seasoned followed by a fajitas (seitan,peppers and onions) which came with rice and a salad with a nice dressing.. It was reasonably priced, and then I had a little chocolate cake.. All vegan and all very tasty. The only problem was that the fajitas came to the table a few minutes after the soup.. By the time I got to the fajitas they were cold - I was conscious of this and noticed myself in conflict over the speed to eat my food. I didn't say anything. If it weren't for this sloppiness I would give this restaurant 4 happy cows, bordering on 4,but instead I am giving it 3. But it could be easily remedied and perhaps others don't mind so much

There are four different vegan burgers here. They only had two types when we were there but both were great. Served with a generous helping of fries. The prices were good at 70 for a burger and fries. Definitely recommend!

Read moreFirst I had the hamburger "La Elemental" which was reaaaaly good! The second day I chose the "Al Pastor" which was also really delicious but hard to eat. I ended up not that "ladylike" during eating this burger Haha.
The agua de mora and de fresas was also super good and was fresh made. The kitchen is completely open so you can follow every step of the cooking process if you want to and the staff is really nice
Pros: Super delicious, really friendly staff, It's good value for money
Cons: not that many seats, a few more vegan options would be good
