Something definitely was wrong with the man running Bek the day I went. I was second to arrive to the otherwise empty venue, ordered a smoothie with matcha plus a cake from their display counter, and waited almost an hour and a half to get a green swill and a rather bad, dry dessert. While waiting, I engaged in conversation with the person who got there first and as I was in no rush and saw the humour in the situation, I kept staying. Other guests, who arrived only a little bit later all got stuck in the same bizarre scenario; ordering food and drinks to just sit and wait for a very long time with nothing happening besides the guy disappearing either in the kitchen or in what seemed to be a wine shop across the street. When finally bringing out the food, nothing was what had been ordered nor did it taste good or was it warm. Some guests left angry, refusing to settle their bills. When I decided to pay out of pity, the man kept the change without a word. As I wasn't willing to give any tip, I asked him for my money, but he just shrugged his shoulders and replied that he had no change. I walked out in disbelief. The whole experience was so grotesque, that it made me laugh, but on the other hand it was sad to witness such chaos in a top rated plant based venue.

Build your own salad bowl was tasty and a surprisingly filling portion - all just fresh veggies but really good! Also bought some peanut milk from the shop which was so peanuty in flavour.

Sorry to be so blunt but they simply don’t know how to make food at this place. Everything at dinner was incredibly bland. Also very poor quality ingredients. We also ordered 2 sandwiches for the next day and the bread wasn’t even fit for the birds. And the filling was just a careless mess of whatever cheap ingredients they cared to put in there (black bean paste and plantains).

They have a really great looking menu but it just feels like no matter what you order you just get something that “passes” for that thing. No concern for taste or quality at all.

My tofu sautéed with tomatoes and onions was flavorful and had just the right consistency that melted in my mouth. The mole and fried bananas added a nice authentic touch. The staff was warm and friendly, and the place felt cozy.

We didn’t get service for around 20-30 minutes after arriving and then after ordering just as most food came we were told they didn’t have enough for what we ordered. We changed a burrito for a baguette but then was served the wrong one. We didn’t need up having the baguette and left with complimentary banana bread.

Staff were kind and apologetic, but the hunger and wait unfortunately ruined the experience for us.
We had tofu and hongo burrito- very tasty, good size and price
Chilaquiles- very good and vegan cream was delicious
Pros: All vegan and large menu , Food was very tasty , Staff were helpful with language barrier

Tienen una carta muy extensa. Con comida para cualquier momento del día: desayunos, aperitivos, comida… tienen también tienda vegana. Ofrecen un vegan lunch box para llevarte en tus excursiones. El local es pequeño pero muy acogedor. El staff, encantador. Sin duda un lugar en el que repetir.

I ate tortilla de patatas, it came with salad and guacamole. Nice lunch. I also tried carrotcake-muffin, coffee and smoothie. The drinks were not that good, coffee 2/5 and smoothie was too not that smooth, also lots of ice in that.

We’ve been here two mornings in a row for breakfast, I had the tofu scramble and the smoothie bowl - both delicious, can’t fault them! They also do a packed lunch for day tours which is just an amazing service!

We went there very early 08 am and the stuff opened up early for us. They have a big menu with many traditional Mexican dishes veganized. Everything we tried was super tasty. The make pastries, Bread AND plant based Milk by themselves!

We had a buger and a Spanish omelette and they were both tasty. Also tried two of their dessets and were nice too! What we really appreciate it was the small free snack they gave us while we were waiting for our food. That was a really nice touch that you don't really see these days. Nice staff too.
