Dank Happy Cow haben wir den Glauben an die griechische Küche wiedergefunden. Wir aßen Briam und Zucchini Feta Frikadellen. Der Blick in die Bucht war herrlich, die Taverne war klein, aber sehr ansprechend.

Read moreunder 10 minutes from our hotel and located at a beach, has a separate Vegetarian/Vegan section on the menu, the portions were huge, the waiter was nice and the atmosphere amazing!
Maybe I will try the meatballs in this holiday too😋

Amazing gyros - Edit
As we had been driving some miles and were looking somewhere to eat. We stopped at Keri beach. There are 2 restaurants to choose from and we chose the 'Keri Taverna'.
Read moreI tried the Vegan gyros (made of soja) and it was delicious! It comes along with some pita bread, fries and some salad. The portion was big and very filling.
They have other Vegan options as well. These are shown within a seperate section of the menu.

Came here after having just arrived late from our flight and walked to the nearest restaurant. Expected I would be having salad and chips but saw Vegan Gryos on the menu. Apparently we were some of the last customers so got a particularly large portion. Food was amazing and staff were very friendly. Menu had a vegetarian section with Vegan Gyros and Vegan Meatballs listed, and i’m sure other things could be veganised on request

My family and me had a lovely dinner. But there were no vegan/vegetarian extra section anymore. Anyway, there are some vegan options like grilled veggies, Aubergine salas aso. The stuff is friendly and the view is really nice.

Good vegetarian options, super friendly - Edit
They have their own vegetarian/vegan menu. Unfortunately they don't seem to sell the vegan gyros any more, but there was still plenty to choose from. We particularly liked the starters. The staff was incredibly friendly and always up for a chat. Better book a table if you want to be sure to get a good one

I ordered the vegan gyros and it came with fries, salad and pita bread and it was very delicious. A big portion as well and not very expensive.

A lovely location right by the harbour looking out towards Turtle Island. The menu is fairly typical but includes a separate vegetarian section and there are other dishes that can easily be veganised.
Read moreThe hummus and pita, although simple, was delicious. The highlight for me was the vegan gyros made with soya meat - it was a huge and filling dish, although a little dry on its own so I was glad I’d ordered the hummus alongside.
Staff were friendly and knowledgable about veganism e.g. warning me that a dish came with tzatziki and offering to serve it without.

I recommend this place for anyone who wants to try a Greek or international cuisine as a vegan/vegetarian version. The owner is well aware of the differences between vegan & vegetarian meals and takes a brilliant care of the guests, listening to their requests and creating creative options to satisfy everyone :)
