Best arepas in Ecuador - Edit
They have a wide selection of fillings for their arepas and empanadas, plus extras you can add. I chose a potato and vegetable empanada and the broccoli carrot arepa, which was cooked in a ginger pepper sauce. You could also choose what colour your wanted the arepa, dyed with vegetables (spinach, beet, carrot). Both tasted fantastic and were very filling. Highly recommend this place, right on the centre square.

Best in Town - Edit
The food is very well done and delicious. Service is very friendly and attentive. The empanadas and arepas were so good! The banana boat is interesting and flavorful. They had a carrot mayonnaise that was excellent! We are looking forward to going back.

Super nice people and local food - Edit
Not heaps of different options but it looks like mostly vegetarianised/veganised local dishes which is great. For example arepas (filled corn cakes) and empanadas. If I'm not totally wrong they also use some or even a lot of organic ingredients. They have some sweets as well. Awesome location! And the staff is mostly very nice.

Lots of vegan food - Edit
The choice is huge so it's hard to choose! Had an empanada and the special banana canoe - the latter is my recommendation.

Good Ecuadorian veg options at a nice price - Edit
This is the only fully vegetarian restaurant in town. Went for lunch and got a nice meal with friendly service. There are quite a few menu items with cheese, but ingredients are clearly printed on menu so it is easy to see what the vegan options are. We got a black bean empanada ($1.50) a stuffed potato which came with a salad ($2.50) and my partner got the black bean and avocado ripe plantain boat ($4.50). These were served with some tasty sauces. We also got fresh juices for $1.50. The food was simple but good and at a good price. Definitely recommend.
