Serves meat, vegan options available. Small place focuses on the vegetarian and vegan choices on their boards, plus has a separate veggie menu. Serves nachos with guacamole, salads, vegan tacos, vegan fajitas, veggie chili, and soups. Good location & service. Open Mon 11:00am-7:00pm, Wed-Sun 11:00am-7:00pm. Closed Tue.

Not good enough … - Edit
We order the vegan agnolotti and the pumpkin & mushrooms
Read more- too much time waiting for the order
- the food was cold and they didn’t use fresh mushrooms as they said
- not too many vegans options
Pros: Good Location, Chill Atmosphere
Cons: Expensive, Too little vegan options, Not fresh product used as they mentioned

Some vegan options available - Edit
The restaurant changed the name to Soul Food and the menu changed also. They have some vegan options - the menu has lots of vegan options but not all of them are available. Ask what is available before you decide to stay. We ate curry chickpea with rice, and agnolottis with tofu cheese which was good.

They really want to satisfy customers! - Edit
They know what owning a food business means and they are really into looking for a customer satisfaction. That being said, they offer lots of international food, and maybe too much, which makes them not that typical… but don’t worry, they have 4 vegan options and possibilities to adjust with others… a good option when many restaurants could be closed off season or on quiet days…

Cute place - food so so - Edit
I was intrigued by the veggie lasagne on the board. He told me it is vegan. Unfortunately, it tasted very disappointing and I think the crepe-like lasagne pieces were not vegan. HOWEVER, they have several other vegan options on the menu. Like Chop Suey or the burger. Maybe I should have tried something different instead. Area is super cute.

nice atmosphere, ok food - Edit
there were a couple vegan options when we went there. I had the vegan agnolotti, the flavours were good, and although the portion looked small it was filling. However the pasta was a bit doughy and the sauce quite watery. But all in all a nice meal for an area where there are very few vegan options. The owner was nice and attentive. Nice atmosphere and there was even live music when we went.

Vegan fajitas - Edit
We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. The fries and vegan fajitas were delicious. The portions were quite big. The kind woman who waited our table knew exactly what we meant when we said we are vegan (which is still a bit rare in Uruguay). There’s also quite a lot of vegetarian food.

Delicious - Edit
I had the vegan fajitas and they came in a big portion, how great! They were delicious. The owner is welcomingly friendly and very attentive.

Cute Spot! - Edit
Lucky if you can find veg options sometimes in smaller towns and cities but this place had a separate ‘veggy’ menu. I had the fajitas and they were great

Good place, tendered by vegan girl - Edit
This is a place where you will find homemade cooking and craft beer. For having very few options in colonia, it was a good place, not the greatest food ever but way better than the other option available, and it was refreshing to find that it was tendered by a vegan girl which I suspect was the owner. It offers Mexican food, and has their own veggie menu. Drinks were cold, and service was friendly. It only takes cash so be mindful of that.

Cons: cash only
