So tasty! - Edit
I had the Moussaka With Rice and it was full of flavour! The salad was fantastic as well and the waitress was so attentive when she knew I was vegan. The decor is gorgeous and the window seats are the best!

Amazing restaurant - Edit
Had a lovely meal and would rate this place 5/5 stars!! There was loads of vegan options and they catered for many dietary requirements. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice 😊 they don’t serve alcohol but that was fine for us, if you want to drink you bring your own. Would love to visit again if ever in the area.

Delicious vegan mezze - Edit
Eat here regularly and love the vegan mezze (the portion for 1 person is £11 and can comfortable feed 2 people). I believe there is a 5% discount if you order over the phone and collect.

Food is banging - Edit
Went here as was the most local vegan food place to my hotel, and I try to stay out of the big chains. This place is class. Ordered the vegan platter, some flatbreads and got recommended the rice with lentils and onions by the waitress. Food was amazing. Couldn’t finish the plate so got it takeaway in boxes. Haven’t even left the place yet and already written a review I’m that happy. Falafel was lush.

Hidden gem with excellent vegan options - Edit
We got to Tarboush having found it by chance on Happy Cow. Although it is simply listed as having veg options, we were very quickly blown away by how inviting and generous the restaurant owner was in insisting he personally put together a selection of mezze items for our group of 5. There are also set lists on the menu for vegan or vegetarian mezze to share. We found ourselves incredibly well catered for, and even struggling to finish everything we had, as delicious as it was!
Read moreNot to mention, we were simply stunned by how incredibly beautiful the interior of the restaurant is. From the outside, it appears to have no more than a small single floor plan, but it is actually a gorgeous three floor restaurant with tastefully themed rooms and a large patio space; perfect for any occasion! In fact, whilst kindly giving us a tour of the restaurant, the owner informed us that the venue is often used for parties and catered events! Personally, I think they are even well equipped for an entirely vegan wedding reception!
It was a wonderful experience, and though we don't live in Watford, we sincerely hope to return.
Pros: Delicious food, Wide selection of vegan options, Friendly owner and staff

Beautiful restaurant, and wonderful team. Enjoyed an outstanding vegan mezze today. Highly recommended! (This would be a five-star rating if that was allowed)

Not great not awful - Edit
I’ve been twice now, the food is tasty but nothing to write home about. The first time I went I shared the vegan mezze platter with a friend, there was loads on it and to be fair it was mostly delicious but we left about 3 of the bits we really didn’t like. The tastiest items are the falafel, houmous (with pitta) and potatoes. The 2nd time I went I chose the moussaka with rice, i polished it all off but it wasn’t amazing, it was tasty but I wouldn’t choose it again. Every main came with a HUGE amount of salad. I love salad but my family barely touched and imagine they have a huge amount of wasted veg which is a shame. The food comes really fast and it’s a popular place. I’d go back now that I know what my favourite menu items are.

Good hummus - Edit
Took a vegan curious omnivore here and ended up sharing a big vegan banquet with him. Satisfying number of vegan options, not the most in the world but it’s good enough considering Watford is pretty slim for options.
Read moreStaff were pretty knowledgeable about their vegan options and even recommended another option that was vegan but wasn’t listed as vegan on their menu (the lentil rice).
Pros: Good hummus, Tasty options, Shisha aswell
Cons: Shisha area is loud, Not enough bread for hummus
