Very accomodating - Edit
Had breakfast included in our hotel stay, however when I went down all they really had was sourdough or raisin toast. I saw the Japanese big traditional breakfast and really wanted to give it a try, only it had salmon on it and fish in the miso. I asked if they could do it vegan and they gave it to me with a hashbrown, spinach, avocado and others. Very kind of them. Even the miso they didn’t add fish. Staff was very helpful and all spoke excellent English.

No Vegan Options - Edit
Asked. Discussed with server. Nothing vegan. The attached breakfast restaurant does sell sourdough that’s vegan and very good.

I had a nice matcha latte with soy milk yesterday but when I asked for vegan food today they said they didn’t have any.

Finally. Good tofu - Edit
Ended up getting the tofu rice bowl 4 times while staying here! Very tasty, filling and healthy. Was trying not to repeat venues while on this trip but had to come back again and again because of how consistently good it was.

some options available - Edit
2 vegan options available, and also a choice of mylks for your coffee/drinks.
Read moreI didn't find anything particular special here; and the same high prices as other places. I brought my own groceries to Nozawa so >¥1000 per meal is just ludicrous when the base is mostly rice/noodle.
The atmosphere is nice though, and staff is pleasant. Wifi works pretty well. Feels very commercial though.

Little sactuary with vegan options - Edit
Stylish, warm and friendly space where we could grab a coffee (bonsoy) and had 3 or so options for lunch, tried the scramble tofu bowl and the tofu avo bowl, both comfoting and delicious. Accepts card, staff speak english and similar pricing to an Australian cafe.

Great vegan options - Edit
Pleasantly surprised to find multiple vegan options for brunch. We had Avocado toast (with some kind of vegemite-like sprinkle on top that was delicious), Iiyama mushrooms and spinach on housemade sourdough, and a rice bowl with tofu, avo, and pickled veggies. Coffee was pretty good and they use Bonsoy. Staff spoke English well and understood what vegan means, and could point us to the vegan options on the All Day Menu.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Delicious food, Friendly service
Cons: Not totally vegan menu, Menu items not labelled vegan
