Lots of veggie options but expensive

Lots of veggie options on the menu (both Indian and not) but it’s quite expensive. I had the black daal which was delicious but cost more than it would back home!

Almost a 4. I was just happy to have something different!

Indian restaurants aren't anyways my first choice for food, but after endless beans, rice, and coconut curry in Belize, I needed something different. We ordered samosas, mushroom curry, aloo gobi, and plain roti. The food was quite good, especially the freshly baked roti and samosas. The curries were flavorful but I found it to be on the oily side and the mushrooms had an unusual texture (I didn't mind it, but it was noticeable). The prices are quite high compared to local food but the serving size of the curries were big that we had leftovers for lunch, so it was worth it. Unfortunately, they pack leftovers in styrofoam :(

We went today for lunch and I had the aloo ghobi. The vegan dish was delish.

The dish was delicious and good portion for the cost. There were at least 10 vegetarian options all listed in the vegetarian section though I vegan so I selected I knew was that. My partner had a belikin beer that cost 4 bz or $2 US dollars. Our lunch with 2 beers and two entrees was $20 US including tip.

Pros: 16 Belizean dollars or $8 US dollars. Affordable, Atmosphere was welcoming. , Nice breeze going through restaurant

Cons: None

Weird place!

Opens on Easter Monday, takes credit cards - because of that you may end up here out of necessity like us, and be grateful that it exists.

Do not know what vegan is - ask for paneer, cheese, milk, ghee, yogurt to be removed from the vegetarian dishes. Waiter surprisingly doesn't know what's in any of the food and doesn't know what ghee is. But after talking to the chef it seems like the chef knows.

Aloo ghobi too salty, veg biryani needs more salt, parkora quite good, pineapple juice amazing.

They accept cards but don't know how to use the card machine, we helped them set it up so we could pay, lol.

Pros: Open on Easter Monday, Amazing pineapple juice, Will remove animal products when you ask

Cons: Doesn't know what vegan is, Expensive for the service and food quality, Food is not great

I do not recommend

I live outside of San Ignacio, and I’ve been to may of the restaurants around. This restaurant is by far the worst. They did have water, which was particularly bad because the food was super salty. It took a long time to get the food which I guess is pretty normal for Belize. I asked multiple times to not have any dairy, cheese, or milk on anything and they put cream on one of the dishes. They also let a very creepy man come in who was bothering us and then he went as far as touching my hair before I yelled at him to leave me alone. Sorry Tandoor, but this place is awful.

Pros: The samosas were great!

Cons: Slow service, Salty food, Put dairy on dish

Okay food, insane atmosphere

The food was pretty good but the music was insanely loud. Louder than you are thinking. Undoably loud.

Pros: Good flavors , Decent number of vegetarian options

Cons: Holy cow this music

Delicious traditional Indian food

They have a full vegetarian section in the menu and the usually Indian dishes are vegan like Chana masala, Dal, veggie curry, aloo-gobhi, etc. Samosas we’re delicious as well. Just make sure to avoid anything “paneer” that means dairy/ cheese.

Pros: Lots of vegan options
