Good street food - Edit
They are known for the ragù in bread, which is actually quite convenient for a quick bite. You can choose up to three fillings, including a vegan ragù made with seitan (although there’s not a whole lot of it in the sauce). I recommend adding friarielli as well, a slightly bitter cabbage variety.

Decent - Edit
Nothing amazing but decent nonetheless. Probably wouldn't return, but maybe. The seitan could've been better made with better texture

Just ok - Edit
Points for having clearly marked vegan options on the menu. The vegan ragu was just ok though...it had barely any seitan in it and was more like a tomato sauce with veg. There's definitely better places to eat all over Naples for vegans.

Very accommodating with vegan options - Edit
Amazing pasta - the vegan ragu was delish, with bits of seitan and a generous portion size which looked very similar to the non-vegan version. Other vegan dishes include traditional neapolitan sandwiches. No non-dairy milk for coffee, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Disgusting… - Edit
The pasta was so hard there was a crunch to it. The sauce tasted like chemicals. The bread was stale & establishment was dirty.

Posto con qualche opzione vegane, carina l'idea ma il piatto non mi è molto piaciuto, l'ho trovato molto salato.

Go for the ragu - Edit
The ragu was excellent but the seitan medallion was pretty bad- it was barely seasoned large chunks of seitan with salad. There's a few other things on the menu for vegans but it more or less boils down to these two. I'd go back for the ragu but don't go expecting lots of choice.

Ragù - Edit
I had the rigatoni ragù with a side salad. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the ragù was quite tasty. Vegan items clearly labeled on the menu.

Good pasta - Edit
The vegan ragu was good but very salty. Didn’t bother me but I imagine it is too salty for some people. The bread for the Bruschetta was already a bit hard to bite. Overall though there is a fair amount of options for vegans.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here, we had the vegan ragu and some local wine. Very busy so we had to go to a different branch, but worth the wait!

Got our order wrong - Edit
We wanted to sample the Ragu whilst in Naples and decided Tandem would be a good place to try.
Read moreWe placed our order and clearly stated that we were vegan. In hindsight, it is clear that the waiter confused it with vegetarian as he told us he would give us 2 different kind of pastas which ended up being a cheese filled ravioli and another type of pasta with melted cheese on top.
We felt awful having to decline the food. Having said that, the waiter realised what happened and we ended up just paying for the drinks. He was super apologetic and we dedicated to book a table for the evening (as we had a tour booked so we couldn't stay).
The Vegan Ragu was very nice but we were not overwhelmed.
All in all, it was an honest mistake and turned out OK.

Delicious Ragout! - Edit
This place is one of the most famous in Napoli. So you should either make a reservation (at best right there at the restaurant, they are very busy and therefor often not reachable over phone). They serve an amazing vegan ragout which I had three times over the last couple of years and I still love it. It is the vegan version of a tradtional dish with seitan and vegetables in a tasty tomato sauce. The portions are bigger compared to the usual primi and very fullfilling. The staff is very friendly, too. I think it is the place to go if you visit Napoli.

Very good! - Edit
Waited about 20-30 minutes around 7:30pm on a Sunday night. The staff seated people before us until another couple told the staff we were before everyone. Food comes really quick and is delicious! Very had ragu before but it was awesome.

Good, but not very special - Edit
I tried the friarielli (a typical vegetable from the region) and the Pasta al Ragù vegano. The friarielli was very special, it’s flavor mix of kale and spinach with a little taste of mustard. Not the best dish I’ve ever had, but since it’s local I find it recommended enough. The pasta was well flavoured, but not that special I was hoping for.

Try the Fresh Fussili - Edit
Eventhough the vegan ragu was just a Tomato sauce with some peace (and I had literally two little tofu cubes, which was supposed to be the Seitan Ragu) the Pasta and the Sauce wäre delicious. We also Head the Friarielli, some green cole-ish veggie, which is typical for southern Italy. The limoncello is great too.
Read moreDefinitely worth for the pasta, but don’t expect too much ragu-style 🙈
Pros: Pasta , The waiters , The price
Cons: Ragu is more a tomato sauce - but still good
