Great late night spot! - Edit
We visited around 10:30pm and had great food! I ordered the Thai peanut and sweet and sour tofu tacos. Both were fantastic!!! Would def visit again.

Tofu was super salty. Seemed kinda pricey for such small tacos. Good enough option if you're in a pinch but I don't think I'll be going back.

Got a chance Sri try some of their vegan tacos and burritos. I enjoyed how most the menu can be customized to be vegan using their crispy tofu as a base. This is a great late not option or one if you are in a mixed group.

We looove the vegan empanadas. They are so good and not too expensive. The curry tofu tacos can be easily made vegan by omitting the mayo. Not too many other vegan options but what they have is quite good and reliable.

I absolutely love this place. They have the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The staff was very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything they had that could be made vegan. Will definitely go again.

Went for the first time with non vegan friends. Was very,accommodating had many vegan options. Staff was awesome. Will definitely go back soon. Would have given 5 stars if able to.

Biting into the Panang Curry Burrito is like coming home after being gone for so long... - Edit
I absolutely love Tako Cheena and have been a customer for at least 5 years. Edgardo, the owner, is so sweet and even posted my husband and my wedding photo on the TC Facebook page when we got married in 2014. My main picks are the Indian Curry Takos (Tofu, no mayo) and the Panang Curry Burrito (tofu). In 2013, I was working a HORRIBLE job and the only thing to take the stress away after work was a Panang Curry Burrito with extra Avocado Wasabi. More, Edgardo was always there to make sure it was available to me each time I came in and to let me rant over my horrible day. To this day, biting into the Panang Curry Burrito makes my worries disappear and makes me wonder why I was ever upset in the first place. This is a major perk, as I've suffered with severe anxiety disorder my entire life. I'm a customer for life. I would give 5 stars if Happy Cow would allow it.

Note:
A few years ago, they started making chicken wings in their fryers. However, they have since acquired a second fryer so tofu is never fried with meat of any kind.

I loved tako cheena ! The burritos are HUGE , got two meals out of one. Great mix of flavors, I got a burrito stuffed with Thai food , fantastic !

For the second time, Tako Cheena has taken down my vegan order and then served it with meat. I also know others who have had this happen. Their vegan options are pretty yummy (tofu is rather bland but tempeh is good, though they often run out) but it just isn't worth the risk in my opinion. It's too bad because they just got a separate fryer for the vegan options. I'm not sure how or why they keep [censored] this up. :(
