Very good - Edit
Very good, the lady was extremely helpful. My husband has a mammal meat allergy and she went through the menu with us thoroughly to make sure he didn’t accidentally eat something, and even checked and came back out after checking with the chef that everything was vegan (the kimchi ramen is not, contains seafood).

Would give 5* if I could - Edit
We loved this place.
Read moreThe aubergine tempura was the best i’ve ever had. By a long way.
We also had the gyoza, yakisoba and Mabo tofu. I saw some other reviews saying the yakisoba wasn’t great so almost didn’t order it but i’m glad we did. I thought it was really nice.
The vegan options are clearly labelled on the menu and the staff were really kind.
Worth noting it’s cash only.

純素或五辛素料理 - Edit

Alright - Edit
The eggplant tempura was delicious but the yakisoba was just fried noodles and vegetables with soy sauce...there was no ginger and no yakisoba flavoring.
Read morePros: Great tempura, Free water, Vegan marked
Cons: Don't understand vegetarian, No flavor on yakisoba, vegan doesn't mean flavorle

Generous food - Edit
After walking the Kumano Kodo I was craving a big plate of noodles and gyoza and that’s what I got here! Big portions, cheap, and everything that can be made vegan is labelled on the menu.

Great place! - Edit
The only place open for dinner in Kii Katsura on a Friday night with vegan/vegetarian options, and it was great! Super tasty food, and the people are lovely (the owner gave us konatsu fruit as a gift :)). Ask for the English menu with the vegan/vegetarian marks drawn on!

Cute with a lot of vegan options - Edit
We were so happy to stumble across this restaurant. The owner is very nice and the food is delicious! They can make a lot of foods vegan (see menu) and the sake is just amazing. Very fast service. Would come here again.
