Serves meat, vegan options available. Small chain of Tex-Mex food restaurants based in the South. Menu offers build-your-own tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls. The tortillas, black beans, tofu, chips and salad are vegan. Corn, guacamole, and other beans are not. The "treehugger" burrito can be vegan if replacing guacamole with just avocado. Other items possibly can be customized - ask. NOTE: Veggie mix contains dairy. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-9:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Super nice staff and fun place. I’m glad I could veganize some of their options with their cilantro-lime tofu. I wish they were in Atlanta!

Vegan options - Edit
As a vegan, I got Taco Mama’s Tree Hugger burrito (burrito filled with veggies) and added their lime-marinated tofu to it. Food did not disappoint, very filling and flavorful. I will say that although awesomely marinated, they do not prepare the tofu crispy. It is very spongey.

Excellent find in Trussville! - Edit
What a great find in rural Alabama! This little taco joint has a very fun and eclectic vibe and even better food. The portions are very large and every meal comes with a menu item, a side, and chips and salsa. The tree hugger, veggie mix and tofu are all vegan. Also, a big plus, FULL BAR! Large parking lot.
