A special dinner treat - Edit
After not having been on lovely Curacao for very long, we wanted a nice dinner meal and definitely got one here.
Read moreClassy surroundings and very friendly staff, with great food. We both had banana soup to start (not what I expected! Quite savoury and 'cheesy') and the Mi Chili Karibense which was delicious. Expect to pay for the quality food and surroundings but it's worth it.

Authentic vegan options - Edit
Contrary to most other non-vegan restaurants offering vegan options on the island, Tabooshh has some surprising authentic vegan options that are well cooked. The owner told me that he will soon implement a new menu, expanding the number of vegan options.

Great vibe, creative chef! - Edit
This is such a cute place! We went here twice during our trip. The first time we got the vegan chili from the menu, which was the only vegan dish, but it was good. It is served as a non vegan meal, so the mayonnaise and salad dressing were not vegan. The second time we asked if we could let the chef surprise us, since we wanted to eat something other than the chili. The chef met us at the table to hear our wishes and was super exited to make something for us (read: he walked away with a happy dance). He made the BEST fried wrap with cooked vegetables, sweet potatofries and broccolicreme.

Cons: Daily specials are fish and lobster, They show the live lobster at tables for approval

Great hidden restaurant on the East Side - Edit
I would never have found this place had I not been staying in an AirBnB in this apartment complex!
Read moreThe food was very good, and I appreciated the marked veggie options. I had the Salad BandaBou with cous cous, fruit, chickpeas, and guava dressing. It was very tasty and a good generous portion size. I also had sweet potato fries, and I tried the pumpkin pancakes which where small soft pancakes that were tasty- lots of cinnamon and spices, but no sauce on top.
We did not have reservations and were able to get a table easily, but I think they do appreciate reservations, and it would be a good idea on a weekend night.
Pros: very delicious, great presentation, outdoor seating on the water
Cons: does serve meat.
