Recommended for lunch on the terrace - Edit
Rond 12:30 neergestreken op het bijna leeg maar groot en gezellig ogend terras. Zowel keus uit tafeltjes in de schaduw als de zon alsook bankjes. Heel aardige man in de bediening en ook genoten van de lunch. Fijn dat aangegeven staat wat vegan is. Het broodje met spinaki bitterballen is een aanrader! Zeker een aanrader! Binnen ook een schoon toilet.

We settled down on the almost empty but large and cozy looking terrace around 12:30 for lunch. There were tables in the shade and the sun as well as benches. The waiter was nice. Vegan options are indicated on the menu. The bun with spinach bitterballen was good! Definitely recommended! Also a clean toilet inside.

Leuke frisse en hippe plek in de binnenstad. Veel vegan opties, een soort 50/50 menu waarbij je een niet vegan en vegan optie hebt. Sommige dingen waren wel echt wat te pittig voor mij. De bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam bij het maken van je keuze.

Surprising meals and very nice restaurant - Edit
A welcoming crew and a super nice restaurant with an incredibly nice menu. Too bad this restaurant is listed as 'veg options' instead of fully vegan, because this might make you decide not to eat there. I think this is unjustified, because there is a lot of vegan on the menu and those dishes are very tasty and surprising. Although fortunately more and more restaurants have vegan options, this is the nicest restaurant we found in this area.

Few expensive vegan choices - Edit
We took two starters (calamares and tostones) and two main courses (patatje rendang, vegan) and spicy tan tan ramen (vegan). The main courses were tasteful, but too spicy for my taste. The starters not so tasteful. The prices were high even for Dutch standard (maybe is it because of Zwolle?). The strange thing is that the price for the main course didn’t change when we ordered the vegan version of it (I get it but I mean spitzkool’s price is way less than meat, right?). But I did appreciate the combination of flavours.

Read moreThey just opened and their concept idea is amazing. They want to have a 50/50 menu, which means a vegan option for every meatdish. They have vegan knowledge and are sincerely interested in your wishes. Most definitely worth a visit!!
