The staff is kind and very willing to explain the different options and to replace butter with oil in the bread toppings and leave cheese out when possible. Vegan Friendly, but Not So Tasty - Edit
I appreciated that the wait staff pointed out what was vegan or could be made vegan, but the tapas we got weren’t very flavorful or creative. The mushroom bruschetta had very few mushrooms on it and the potatoes and sweet potatoes lacked seasoning. The food was fairly bland. The most exciting part of the meal was the pineapple en flambé.

Nice vegan options - Edit
Currently in ponta delgada and it’s quite hard to find vegan options that aren’t chips or salad, but this place does a really tasty vegan chickpea burger and spiced roasted sweet potato, I believe there are a few other options too. Godsend for a hungry vegan away from home 😋

When we arrived at night they said we’d have to wait 2 hours for a table as we hadn’t reserved. After waiting for 10 minutes they found a table, though. Just be wary that the line may be long at night. The waiter provided excellent service throughout the meal with various explanations of food and check ins if we needed anything. We had the Vegan Trilogy, which is cut up peppers, carrots, cucumbers, tortillas and chips with 4 kinds of different humuses. We also had the Tapas Vegetariana, which is basically 4 pieces of bruschetta with olives and tomates, but we had to tell them to not include the mayo, which would otherwise be on the bread. They also have a vegan burger, which sadly was quite disappointing. It was way too dry and crumbly — it really needed some kind of sauce. It was also served on top of a napkin on the plate, which made it hard to scrape the crumbles together afterwards as the paper would tear and be added to the mix. For dessert we had the pineapple flambé and melons. Both were good.

Went here because of Happy Cow. Waiter was friendly and accommodating. Had the pasta with mushrooms, tomato and basil. VERY good prices (6 euros for pasta, 10 for a bottle of wine). Highly recommend. Great find.

Superb service and really nice food - Edit
This place was so lovely. They cared very well about me and my vegan friend. They have a few vegetarian options and are willing to make them vegan if you want to. We had a salad, mushroom bread, two types of pasta (tomato+basil and mushroom) and after that we had melon for dessert. They also served very nice cocktails. Nice location, fair prices, but it can be very busy during the evening. I can highly recommand!
