OK place - Edit
The place has really beautiful special tables, but other than that is extremely unremarkable. All the food was OK. Just OK, nothing more nothing less. Reasonably prices.

We went here because we wanted something other than falafel. The waiter didn't understand what "butter" meant but we decided to go ahead and order anyways.
Read moreWe had two appetizers (hummus and baba ghanouj) which were really good. The hummus was actually the best hummus we've ever had! It was so creamy and delicious!
The main dishes we ordered were the siniya (potatoes, carrots, peppers in a tomato sauce) and rice with vegetables in tomato sauce. The siniya was okay although nothing special. In the vegetable dish there was a piece of beef, however. We sent it back, but when we got it back there was still a small piece inside, and the dish generally tasted like it was cooked with beef.
When we went to pay and were asked if everything was okay we mentioned this and the guy got extremely defensive and claimed that it was impossible that there would have been any meat in the dish as they simply don't cook it that way. He got very loud and made it look like we were lying until the waiter confirmed that there was meat in the dish. He then apologized and insisted that we don't pay for the dish.
We certainly won't be back despite the great hummus. Mistakes can happen even though meat in a dish that is listed as "vegetarian" is quite a big one. But the reaction afterwards made it even worse. At least, we didn't have to pay for it in the end.
Pros: Non-smoking, Amazing hummus
Cons: We were served meat!

Vegetarian dishes available - Edit
Friendly English speaking waiter serving delicious vegetarian appetizers. I tried the Seniya of potatoes, onions and green peppers served in clay pot (main dish, JD 5 ) and the stuffed grape leaves (appetizer, JD 1.50). The waiter also served us black tea with sage ( maryamiya ) and fresh mint leaves.
