Ontzettend vriendelijke mensen serveren hier een heerlijk, goed uitgedacht menu dat altijd wisselt, dus je kan zo vaak terugkomen als je wilt. Alles is altijd lekker!

Superleuk klein vegetarisch restaurantje met keuze uit een vegetarisch of vegan menu. Eten is eerlijk, lekker, vers en goed bereid, de bediening is zeer vriendelijk en heeft veel kennis van zaken, de sfeer is fijn en de wijn-spijs combinaties zijn leuk en verrassend.

In this humble restaurant you will eat delicious, seasonal and organic vegetarian and vegan food. The setting is cozy, the staff is super attentive and friendly. They serve a 3, 4, or 5 course dinner which changes biweekly. We opted for the 3 course dinner and admittedly, this was more than sufficient for us. 10/10 and fully recommended. We will be back.

Recommend! This is a lovely small restaurant in the middle of a residential area in Den Haag. The food is amazing. The waitress shared lots of fun little details and her knowledge on the dishes and ingredients. It's such a treat to have the option of a full vegan menu. The vibe is really cosy and laid back. So if you're looking for a place to really sit back, enjoy the food and have a good conversation with your friends or loved ones, this is the place!

Vegan menu gekozen (uiteraard). Wat was dat heerlijk. Een uitstekend wijnarrangement erbij maakte het helemaal compleet. Vriendelijke bediening, leuk tentje, midden in een woonwijk. Echt een aanrader.

Sweet, tiny place with a super cosy vibe but delicious, varied and unusual food choices. About half the menu is vegan & the rest is veggie, everything is clearly marked, as is the alcohol. Such a special little place! Don't forget to book though!

When we visited, the elder sister Dymphna mainly took care of the cooking while the younger one did the serving and other things to do. They prepare interesting dishes, some in a cold version where I expected hot. Some of them have a French, Turkish or Asian touch, good ingredients, a bit macrobiotic style I would say. Excellent beers, wines also OK. Mid-range prices. Basic furniture, pleasant people. No bad choice.

Had a lovely dinner here with my friend. We both had the sweet potato wich was delicious!! And as a dessert we had the chocolate-coconut-fudge-brownie and the rhubarb-crumble with icecream.
I wasn't a real fan of the brownie, but also I'm not a real chocolate fan.

This is our favorite restaurant in The Hague. Always a refreshing menu with seasonal and local products. A small living room like restaurant, so a reservation is a good idea. Really nice owner and cook, two sisters who run the place.

For a more luxurious veggie dining experience, this is the place to be: it felt like a classic French-style restaurant - but with vegan options. It was so tasty, I was sad my plate was allready empty. A nice touch is the open kitchen where I could see the cook working. Worth paying a visit!

We were there while they celebrated 3 years for the place so there was a fix menu (Vegan or Veg) and everything was just great. The food was fresh and tasty! :)

Symbiose is a vegetarian place where about half the options are vegan, so I'd been waiting to check it out for a while.
Read moreThe restaurant is quite small, but a very light and open space. They even have an open kitchen so you can see the cook at work.
The food was good. Well made, and they tried to make it a bit special. It's still Western organic style, but not boring at all. The portions were good too.
Service was great, very attentive and friendly.
Price was decent; not cheap, but I wouldn't call it expensive either.
All in all a nice place to eat, and I will definately go there again.

Update: I think the food that was already quite nice has slowly been getting better. The plates always look amazing, and the food is really good in the style. I've found myself coming here more often, really lovely place.

Spur of the moment meal led to finding a new restaurant. The Hague has added several veggie restaurants recently but we had missed this one.

We had a delicious meal.
The root vegetable beignets with paneer were very tasty. Then a parcel with cauliflower and sprouts served with celeriac mash hit the spot.
Best of all chocolate mousse with blood orange sauce.
Just crazy that we hadn't found it before. Organic and season food. Delicious!

Tonight when to Symbiose with my friend and we had an exquisite meal, every course. The lemongrass pumkin soup follwed by Empanadas and then a carrot cake for dessert.

Whereas other people said they didn't get enough food and that it was expensive, I am not sure what they were referring to or how much they expected to get but in my experience all worth it and more than enough to eat.

I just came back from Symbiose, one of the new vegetarian restaurants in The Hague, which is slowly turning into a vegetarian mecca. Hourah! Both the food and atmoshphere at Symbiose were great. We really enjoyed our vegan dishes and came out happily stuffed. The chocolate pie with hazelnut cream and a side shot of coffee liqueur was the highlight of the evening. Will definitely go again!

A nice organic vegetarian place a bit off the beaten path, but not far from the city center. To get there you can take tram 3 (tram stop Fahrenheitstraat) or tram 12 (tram stop Copernicusplein).

Extremely friendly and attentive personnel, open for suggestions (if anybody knows a supplier for good organic vegan wine in NL, please let them know).
Cozy interior with nice details like many colorful Origami cranes as window decoration.
They've just opened their doors and so far I've been there only once, but for sure I'll get back.
