Delicious lunch - Edit
We enjoyed a delicious lunch here - avocado on toast and the mushroom on toast. So tasty! They also had lots of vegan cakes (apparently the owner is vegan) and enjoyed a yummy cherry chocolate cake

I’m something of a regular at the Sycamore and I’ve always been happy with their vegan options. The food is tasty and well presented, with friendly staff and a great spot for people watching. I’ve never had any complaints!

Accidentally served eggs - Edit
This is a tough one to rate as they have a lot of vegan options on the menu and the food was good (we had the meatless wonder- mushrooms on focaccia, and a Shakashouka) except that I discovered part way through they they hadn’t given me the vegan shakshouka as we had ordered. They were apologetic and the chef came out with a replacement meal. They also didn’t charge us for the shakshouka and gave us a free vegan chocolate and cherry cake (which was really good). The problem was that the chef had not read the order properly. I guess these things can happen but it was a real shock and I felt quite emotional about it, as it felt a bit like a betrayal of trust.
