Unbelievably good - Edit
Probably the best vegan spin on classic creole recipes, and the bread pudding is out of the world!!! Also super affordable compared to other vegan spots in town

Speechless - Edit
This place is outstanding! I ordered the pick 4 with the cashew mac and then asked them to choose their favorite 3 other dishes. They chose the greens, dirty rice, and bbq cauliflower. At the register I added on a soursop ginger drink and an impulse bread pudding. Couldn’t finish it all, so I took it back to my hotel. Don’t miss this spot when you’re in New Orleans!

The large salad we got was fresh (except for 1 grape) and tasty. The staff was very patient with all of our questions.

Worth every positive review - Edit
Place is top notch. I walked here from the French Quarter. Took about 35 minutes. Was worth every step. They truly deserve all the positive reviews. Fantastic food! The "Pick 4" will probably feed me twice today but I wanted to try as much as I could. If they had a "Pick 12" I would have. 😂😂😂

Visited NOLA for five days and ate there 3 times. Best food in New Orleans hands down. Also, get their ice cream. Out of this world. Would eat there weekly at least if they had a location near me.

Variety of options served cafeteria style so you can pick and choose what you’d like to try! I walked from City Park and bought about enough for 3 meals worth of food 😅 worth the trip and leftovers, this place is amazing!

Holy Mother of Soulfood!!! - Edit
Run, don’t walk. This is the most incredibly flavorful meal. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one outdid the next. Cornbread? Check. Mac N Cheese? Check. Greens? Check. Bread pudding? Check. And ice cream in amazing and decadent flavors? Check. Check. Check. My only disappointment was that ingot so full so quick, wanted to keep eating. This is a great local vegan spot to experience the cuisine of NOLA. Now excuse me while I go take a nap because my belly and my soul are full. They’re killin’ it here!!!!

Y'all, the future is VEGAN! 🌿💪🏽 - Edit
Just because we're vegan doesn't mean we don't love food, and NOLA is known for food that truly hits the spot! "Sweet Soulfood" is delicious and oh-so-satisfying! Large portions and quick service - friendly too! I love that they change out their menu daily, so you're always guaranteed something different. We went on a Thursday and had their Cashew Mac 'n' Cheese, Orange Cauliflower (fried and super crispy!), Stuffed Bell Peppers, Sweet Potato Casserole, Jambalaya, Okra Gumbo, and Corn Bread.

Authentic Louisiana food! - Edit
My goal was to eat authentic Louisiana food while visiting New Orleans, and it happened here. Sweet Soulfood is entirely vegan, and they offer many options available here. You order cafeteria-style, and although they were packed, the line moved fast. They are obviously used to crowds and know what they are doing. The portions are enormous; you can share the three or four-choice option. Sweet Soulfood is a great casual choice with authentic Louisiana food.
