I can’t say enough good things about Nate and Meghan and their incredible food!
Read moreWhile not completely vegan, they are both very well informed and make an effort. They always have at least two breakfast sandwiches and a baked good ranging from seasonal fruit/berry crumbles and cookies!
Highly recommend!

Update 5/18/23: Got the #5 and it hit the spot so much I ordered another! Oat milk creamer available and the friendliest folks around! Can’t recommend them enough.
Read moreGot breakfast there. Very friendly and tasty options. I got the What The Cluck and it was perfect. On-point toasted English muffin and the best jam - jalapeño - with tofu, v chicken, and v cheese. They even had almond nogg as a coffee creamer choice (although I went with Silk creamer)! Highly recommend.

The vegan options at S&S are so darn good - a stop here is well worth it. The owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They always have 2 vegan sandwiches and at least one vegan bakery item (get there early). Most of their breads are vegan-friendly - their English muffins are fantastic. We come weekly and are never disappointed.

it truly just doesn’t get any better than sweet and savory! the vegan options are just insanely good. best english muffins i have EVER had. not to mention the vegan breakfast sandwiches with house made tofu “egg” and all of the other incredible vegan treats - the peach bars, focaccia bread, scones, and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies just to name a few. the staff are amazing and the food is spectacular. a billion out of 10! #Veganuary

We took a ride from Portland to check out this bakery. My non vegan hubby enjoyed his meaty breakfast burrito while my daughter and I enjoyed the two vegan breakfast sandwiches! Something for everyone! #Veganuary

My husband and I had heard about Sweet & Savory from the Vegan Maine Facebook page, and we took the drive from Portland to order one of everything vegan and we were not disappointed. The staff were so kind and vegan friendly, they seemed excited about their vegan options. We ordered a coffee with silk toffee creamer, an apple and cinnamon scone that was still soft and warm, a loaf of vegan focaccia that had huge chunks of garlic on it, and two breakfast sandwiches (one with Gouda and one with pepper Jack). The breakfast sandwiches were AMAZING. If I had one note I would say a spread of some kind would make the sandwich one of the best I’ve ever had. (Mayo or an aioli or something!) We absolutely will be back and I hope they start serving more vegan options!
